Go read dev blogs and watch fan fest videos. It's all in there...

Nope. I want to see a direct quotation rather than ridiculous and incorrect assumptions.

And for your information, I read the developer blogs and have, in fact, watched the Fanfest videos.

I can't be arsed to hold your hand and do some easy mode digging for you m8. If you're unable to find the information that's one thing... but this seems to be a case of not only unable, but unwilling to understand the fact that you are unable to find the information that has been totted around here. Ignorance is bliss some say.

As for the whole "i've read and watched" apparently not well enough, try again.

Furthermore, what are you actually arguing here? Are you trying to state that the things I originally stated are not true thus making it justified for ccp to release an "expansion" that is oh so obviously sub par compared to their previous one? One would assume that by attacking a claim that ccp stated their new expansion would be superior to their previous that you're trying to build a case or excuse as to why it is acceptable to release sub par content? I don't really see this as a reasonable argument because even if you were right (You're not btw) it would seem that you're just supporting the idea of mediocrity instead of excellence, a fail argument from the onset most would think.

it's a funny old world.

The inventory fixes a lot of things that used to drive me up the wall (and made *me* feel like I was playing PvUI). It's not perfect - but then the whole UI is full of tiny things that don't quite work as they should.

So I'm much happier - and yet there are a bunch of people so angry they've left the game!

Guess it's hard to win really

The new inventory is going to be good - WHEN IT'S FINISHED.
It was not released in a finished state. It still has glaring issues with usability.

Containers should open in new windows by default, in my view. Or we should be able to keep two inventory windows open to manage cans and things.

This applies to the whole Eve UI IMO - although "glaring" is probably too strong a word (but hey this is the Eve forums - "Hangings too good for them" - or is that the daily mail? hard to tell really)

I hate people who uses the "HTFU" and "adapt or die" logic in areas where it has nothing to do with the actual game. Theres a difference between challenging gameplay and bad game UI.

This new inventory system adds more complication to a simple system while achieving the same thing, albeit with an upgrade that could have been implemented on the old inventory system anyway.

This system might work, but who wouldn't miss being able to see 2 or more inventories at the same time.

I won't leave because of an inventory change, just like how I didn't leave after 5 or so horrible patches that messed up the game technically. (Seriously, this is the only game where a patch corrupts, or something-other, the game everytime for me.) But they better tread carefully from here.

There's something wrong with the inventory?

I didn't know there was a problem.

What did I miss?

And don't get me started on the lackluster missle explosions... I knew they were going to have to pull the graphics back from the trailers.

This thread should be titled;

"CCP Broke my bot software and I am mad"

Get over it.

I actually like the new inventory. Can you do the same to the asset window next?

Again, if you like the new inventory, you aren't playing the game with even the most modest of functionality. Basically you're a troll here to argue a point in which you can't possibly back up with logic or experience.

You have not played for more than ten minutes an actively tried to do different things. Go back, play for a couple of days, or even just hours, and then come back and tell us how you REALLY feel.

When you make absurd claims, the burden of proof is on you in the event of someone calling you out on them.

I'm not arguing anything. I simply want to see evidence for the claims you're making.

Much like the fabricated claim I'm calling you out on, your whole impression is a complete fabrication with no basis whatsoever. How on earth do you jump to this conclusion when I'm simply expecting you to back your claim up?

Bolded: Prove it. Refusal of doing this only demonstrates that you can't back your claim up. Either you stick to not putting words in the mouths of other individuals, or the delusions you're displaying here are going to get the best of you.

Lol, just lol... Like I said m8, I'm not digging it up for you... I've got better thing to do with my time than to "prove" something already commonly known by the community and myself to some self righteous whiner... As for the whole "absurd claims".... Dude, man, m8.... If someone stating that ccp claimed their newest expansion would be superior to their previous is somehow listed as "absurd" then i'd suggest medical help asap...

Keep grasping at straws tho m8, I'm sure you will find the quotations I'm talking about soon enoughTwisted Till then i'd suggest continuing to live this silly opinion you've unfortunately bolstered yourself around. Lols on you per usual

So, basically you just confirmed that you're blowing nothing but hot air. Good to know that your claims and arguments are backed by nothing but your petty childishness. How appropriate.

New inventory system sucks. When I am in PVP and I want to loot a can, old system I'd open the can, hit ctrl+a and then shift click boosters if I saw them, and then drag it to my cargo icon in the bottom center overview. This took me under 10 seconds if I looked at every item, under 2 seconds if I only looked at boosters.

I can't even tell what the hell I'm looking at in the time it took to perform that old task of looting and shooting at the same time. But hey I'm a dinosaur, maybe I just suck at this game, maybe I need to HTFU...

That's what I would have told myself, anyways. It just so happens I was in 0.0 looking to pass through a gate when I saw the gatecamp I was trying to pass get busted by another gang. Most of the campers got away but a drake got tackled and vaporized. The killers sat on the gate for whatever reasons for at least a minute or two, PRESUMABLY looting and deciding on a new destination and what have you, but after they left the loot was still in the drake wreck.

I am almost 100% certain that that loot got left behind because it's impossible to do anything with the new inventory system in a STATION, much less in space on a gate or in a fight where you aren't about to screw around for 10 minutes trying to figure out what is going on. That's when I realized the loot system is definitely bad and it's not just my opinion (in my opinion :-)

The so called 'improvement' to the inventory UI will never be rolled back as long as the controls to what direction Eve Online features go is up to debate.

CCP believes they are the authority on the direction the game takes and what feature changes they can shove down the players throats. They are correct as long as the players continue to fund their poorly implemented upgrades with subscriptions.

There is only ONE way to show that the players drive the direction the game takes, and even the CEO of CCP has confirmed it with his statement:

CCP Hilmar wrote:
Having the perspective of having done this for a decade, I can tell you that this is one of the moments where we look at what our players do and less of what they say.

As long as you keep your subscriptions going CCP will continue to make these type of design decisions that go against the will of Eve's players.

Are you for real!?

It takes one extra click. ONE. Even then, that's only because for some reason items aren't in focus when inventory opens. That's all. And in return you get the ability to drag to any "item receptacle" accessible to you at that time.

Are you muppets seriously threatening to quit over one extra click?
