Patch notes for today's patch.

Some fixes to the Unified Inventory issues people have been running into. I know this doesn't cover everyone's concerns, just posting this in the relevant threads so everyone is aware of the current status.

Not even a start on the real issues.....

O_o update?
1. Oh boy, they fixed the texture on the ankles of female avatars. I bet all the little boys that r starting to come out of their closet and use female avatars are rl happy about that.
2. Oh...and all the grammar has been spell-checked and fixed too!! and the translations!!!

I guess it's all better now....wtf?

Quick note for all the morons running their mouths; The inv wasn't broke, there was no need to fuk it up. Your dumb pathetic comments are not necessary, you can stay and play ur broken game.

Because it seems that ccp is intentionally running this client into the ground and have other plans, because they have broke something and this so-called 'update' didn't address it.

It's been fun, but when one game goes to sh!t, there is another to replace it...

To anyone complaining about people canceling:

Thank them now, they are one of the reasons why you can frakin' spin your ship again, don't have gold ammo and 1/2 CCP's time developing crap for the cash shop!

This is how you get sh*t done, hit them in the wallet. I love CCP just as must as anyone else but this Universal Inventory system is a disaster and the best part, wait for it, THEY WERE WARNED BEFORE LAUNCH, PEOPLE EVEN CREATED VIDEOS TO HELP THEM UNDERSTAND.

CCP needs take a page out of the old SWG days and not dictate changes like this and expect people to just sit back and suck it up, it is after all a game, you know, like entertainment!

Call it tough love!

that is a ****** reason to quit

I would disagree. When the dev's give their player base a giant "**** you", it's generally a good idea to go do something else with your time. CCP is committed to this course, and seeing as the inventory is probably the most used function, it's only natural that major deficiencies introduced into it is enough to push people into quitting.

Not that I'm quitting, but I fully support those that are. I coughed up cash to recently to quit anyways :(

So you're saying these changes aren't actually on the patch notes list? Where I just found them? Wow, it's amazing, really.

Unified Inventory

Fixed an issue where the new Unified Inventory would reopen every time a character jumped, docked, undocked or otherwise performed a session change.
Inventory window locations that are still accessible between docking and undocking will now remain open. For example a ships Drone Bay, if opened in a separate window.
Fixed an issue where players could not edit their Smart Filters.
Fixed an issue where Corporation hangars would not load correctly.
Attempting to move mixed groups of items into hangar locations that can only accept a specific item type, will now transfer the items allowed.

You mean they introduced an update to a system that people have been asking for, but because it's not 100% working right out of the gate, lol everyone is mad and wishes CCP and Iceland would disappear in a singularity.

Just because something doesn't work the way it used to doesn't make it "broke". That is ******** speak..

OMG you guise Windows 7 doesn't work like Windows 1.0, it's broke and I hate computers and want to criminalize all the developers who ever thought about this and I'm mad and I'm never buying anything ever again.

This community is the worst to develop for. If I were a CCP dev and I saw the whining going on on these forums and be sorely tempted to melt the forums servers down just so you all would shut the **** up.

I'm sorry, I really can't comprehend what you are saying other than ankles something. But I've never really looked at my ankles. I'm too busy enjoying the rad unified Inventory that everyone else is whining about, and enjoying how awesome the missiles are and how great the Amarr V3 looks.

Who the fuk asked them to break it? Who asked for filters? could they not figure out to sort? Who asked for an approx estimate on items? and why?!!

It WASN'T broke in the first place. And by ur logic, if its a 'change' in any way, broke or not, it's better...what? No matter what word u use , 'update', 'change'...the bottom line is....IT'S BROKE NOW....

Could have fooled me, cause u sound like a ccp dev(if they listened and replied that is), They break something for no reason except for stupidity. And then attempt to convince PAYING players, that it's not broke..just different...or missile lag is due to the fact that you(the paying player) didn't go out the night b4 the 'update' and purchase that latest commercialized nvidia/intel products that ccp might be getting kick-back for.

The fact is... as of now..the game is unplayable, or at least, more time consuming, and will prolly wear ur mouse out faster due to the extra clks. AND the funny thing is....did they break it on purpose? or was it just plain stupidity?

I actually stopped looting the first mission I did since the patch to post about it. Still trying to find a way as efficient as before. If anyone has found it please share.

Actually, I think the filters and tree and all that would be really neat. As an additional asset management tool, not a replacement for "the most used system in EVE" as the devs themselves put it.
