Hmm...
It says "started [date]" if it is active and it also has the text "- Can fight at [time]" if it's the warmup time

is this not working for you? if it is not, it would be great if you created a bug report via the in game tool (F12, bottom button)

first off, CCP why do you keep messing with things that are not broken(Like the inventory UI) when there are so many things in your game that are? (the client not notifying the user when it disconnects, new feature balancing, Pos mechanics, lag etc..)

As for your shiny new UI..... it just sucks. Yes it looks cool. Yes, I'm I'm sure it's useful in some way. But you're forcing it on people and that's not cool.

some problems that really annoy me in that 10 minutes I've been using it. There is no way to access any of the capital ship hangar arrays, or corporate hangar arrays without using.

Your new free system, your UI programmers seem to think that it is part of the cargo. And have completely remove the buttons on the right-click menu both on your capacitor and your ship.

There is no way to open up a corporate hangar the old method( the useful method ) you are completely forced into the new method (that is completely unusable and clunky, and makes me want to shoot myself in the head.)

Pos mechanics, highly affected by this because now instead of every single hangar/silo(That you can't name because that feature broke a long time ago and you never bothered to fix it)/Fuel bay. Tries to open up in the same damn window, closing the previous one you had open. Instead of opening up a new window that remembers its previous position(the new UI doesn't remember positions at all).

and the worst part about all of this is that you told all of this multiple times in the test server feedback , which you ignored.

TL;DR
-- The right-click to access your ship hanger array and your CHA on capital ships have been removed ( whoever's responsible for that needs their head examined.)
-- the unified inventory system just sucks, and you force it on us (there's no way to turn it off or go around it in most cases)
-- you can hide the tree, however all access to corporate assets require use of the tree.
-- Because of the unified inventory system, combined with other broken pos, that you never fixed. Has resulted in pos maintenance being 100 times more painful.
-- CCP ignored test server feedback, about the unified inventory system's usability.
---

Things you could do to fix this, give the ability to opt out of the new UI system, and keep using the old way

The inventory is nice BUT ships need their respective picture as list icon.
It would be nice if one could scroll the page/list which is hovered by the mouse w/o the need to focus it by a mouse click!

Extra border space means either a) you see less of what you could see before when you resize or b) it's bigger than before.

New inventory for managing stock piles of in station crap - sure. Ship cargo bay and POS silo's - NWIH!

Incarna - Newest business example of mismanaged capital. CCP - Continuing to gank independent PI producers every day

Great work CCP!

As a producer/inventor I like the unified inventory most - thx it works great for me so far - thumbs up and +10 for the developer team.

BUT:
1. A crucial part is still missing. That is the ability to STACK BPO's and BPC's (that have same ME, PE, etc.). In fact, that was/is the most important point for me and I was hoping you would implement it finaly as the dev blog picture showed
(cf. http://cdn1.eveonline.com/www/newssystem/media/28129/1/Inventory_Blog_New_Inventory.png).

Hence the so-called 'scroll yourself to death problem' has not solved at all for producers and inventors. Sad

Anyways, my hope dies at last - c'mon CCP: "Yes, you can do it!"
Q: Do you have that issue on your priority list already? Please tell me you have Question

2. Docking in station and loading tghe corp hangar takes up to 20sec each time.
Q: Is that supposed to be?

3. Yes, its truely anoying that the ships cargo is closing all the time the session changes. But i think theres place to improve the system (remember windows settings, detaching ships cargo hold + remember it + double click function to re-open it and so on). Pls CCP, you need to bring back some of the old functionality we all are used to and simultaneously improving the UI.

Thx in advance and best regards

The unified inventory takes some getting used to, but so far I like it. I have a few comments.

  • Now that item windows works like file browsers, i really miss having a 'back' button to return to the previous view.

  • It's not possible to open several containers with one action anymore. This used to be possible by selecting all containers and using the right-click->open option. This makes container handling in cargo bays a bit of a pain.

  • Window setting should be stored on a pr. window basis. In my station hangars I might want the tree list, but keep it hidden for cargo bays. The same should go for window sizes of course. Someone else mentioned POS arrays and I can imagine the horror in this respect too.

  • I would like to have shortcuts for different types of windows that can be put in the Neocom. One button opens cargo bay with one set of settings, another button opens hangar with another set of settings. If any view and its settings can be made into a shortcut, that would really put the versatility to good use.

  • Currently default behaviour is to keep the old window when opening a container, an option to change this behaviour to opening a new window every time is something I think a lot of people could use. This would be similar to how info windows works.

Some positives as well.

  • The way that volume is shown in various contexts is very useful. I love that.

  • The estimated value of an item or stack of items seems very useful. It may be slightly off sometimes, but showing the price used for the calculations allows users to asses the precision of the estimation.

  • I haven't played with the filters much, but so far it seems that they can prove very handy.

E-diot of the Year Prize goes to CCP (again) for the New Totally Useless and Annoying Inventory Function!

Supposedly I have to fully fit a large amount of ships on regular basis and I have items organized in station warehouses for rapid 1-click individually access. How can I still see all ships in my ship hangar and open all station containers and ship's cargo holds + items in station, ALL at the same time AAAND make them remember window sizes and location on screen?

I have about 10-20 station containers/warehouses on each different station I use for industry, invention, manufacturing, contracting, etc. Do I have to set ALL the windows EVERY time I dock?

Why do I have to reset my settings/cache to get rid of that Inventory-Window-Always-Opens-When-I-Undock/Jump bug? Aren't you capable of implementing new content without messing up the cache and setting? Too hard to make it backwards compatible? This happened with every single expansion.

It would've been much more easier and useful if you only implemented the filter function on (items, cargo, warehouse, station containers, etc) windows next to view type option and make it optional!

I don't want to see how many items I have in that particular window or how much they cost. This info only occupies space. Make it's visibility optional.

I want double-click on ships to open their cargoholds, like it used to, not to activate it like it does now.

Basically, you made things easier only for ppl that have a couple of ships and some 10ish items on a station (beginners), but for all other players that poses a large number of ships and a huge amount of items, you made things WORSE! Access to items and ships is NOT easier, but much more complicated now!

ROLL IT BACK!
(or make it optional)

...everything I do requires seperate windows to be open. The changes I have seen today have made the simple operation of dropping items into you hangar more complicated and time consuming. The fact that every windows closes when you session change is an epic failure as far as i'm concerned. Please can we have an option to turn off this new "improvement" and please can i have my seperate ship hangar back and for god sake please stop changing things that are not broken!

The GOOD - Love the new shiny bits and new missle effects

Tha BAD - The new inventory thing is bloody aweful!!! Seriously the people who came up with this and didnt give a "opt out" tick a box on the Esc menu screen really need to be looking for new jobs.

For the love of all things Eve please, PLEASE stop trying to fix stuff that isnt broken.

Give us the option to leave our stuff in tabs/windows/whatever like it was. It was fine. We could see where things had to go in a station or a pos without millions of clicks or keys.

The new inventory system is appalling. I have no idea why this ever got beyond the back of a beermat stage. Just for basics;

Have your Devs ever watched a pvp video? Did the notice that it often happens that you have to jump through a gate during a fight? Then why does my cargo close every time I do this? This does not help during a fight !!

How about the way we have to carefully manage our cargoes during a fight for using cap boosters and ammo? Or maybe taking from a can in space to keep the cap boosters flowing? So why now can i see how much the value of my cargo is but I get to see half as much cargohold instead ?!!

In station it's normal for most of us to have the ship and station hold open along with possibly a container and the ship's own cargohold. Do your Devs realise how much more damnably complicated they've made this once simple process?!!

Your UI now gets in the way of my playing Eve, it DOES NOT help me to play eve.

tl;dr UI is a steaming pile of dung.

CCP, seriously.
Drag to hangar = switch
Double click ship inside inventory = open cargo

now it's...
Drag to hangar = switch
Double click = switch

MAJOR USEFULNESS ISSUE

EDIT: Don't make it open the cargo, make it open the Cargo Tree so I can access my fuel bay and drones inside my Thanatos

When will we see the passive Damage Control?
Tuxford said it would originally be passive, but the code wasn't there for it.
This should be possible now, shouldn't it?

This new UI is extremely disappointing for an Industrial Player.

Each time an Orca warps out to empty its cargo, all of the other fleet members who had the corp cargo hanger window open loses this window as it defaults back to their own ships hanger. In the past this was not the case - orca warped out, orca warped back in, everyone was still viewing the same corp cargo hanger and could go about depositing their ore.

Also the Orca pilot has to keep reopening the Ore Hold, Corp Hangers and Orca Cargo each and every time when docking and undocking to have easy quick access to move ore around.

Unfortunately I cannot see any improvement this new layout has to offer your customers.

The UI is horrible sh!t.
I want two or many more seperate windows (WHITHOUT any shift or something crap) to move items from the hangar into my ship. It was possible to stack all windows into one before this UI crap. But no one did this. Now you force all people to live with this crap. Please roll back the UI or make it optional. It is not user friendly.

Especially the Inventory I want into SEVERAL independent windows to be able to drag and drop things around. I hate the idea to use the shift key every time to open a own window.

CCP pls answer this ONE QUESTION!

Why did you "stayed the course" with the crappy Inventory Feature after all the negative feedback from Sisi?

In Hilmar's own words:
"Currently we are seeing _very predictable feedback_ on what we are doing. Having the perspective of having done this for a decade, I can tell you that this is one of the moments where we look at what our players do and less of what they say. Innovation takes time to set in and the predictable reaction is always to resist change."
