"Resolved a locator issue with the Concord SWAT frigate."

Why is this in black text? Kinda odd. Anyway, good listing, good luck tomorrow.

Really? Mining frigates is your shining example?

Everyone please raise your hand if you mined for more than a week in a mining frigate ever in your character's lifetime.

Um, try a month in a Burst. Lol Mostly I didn't know any better, but was also a good way to get used to mining and rats (I'd sometimes have to go back and drop a combat turret on it to take it out).

I still do have a Tormentor with miners on it, which I've used from time to time for a quick grab of something; It will be interesting to see if the fit still works (I believe it will). My PvE roaming Thrasher also has a Miner I (usually offlined) for when I'm on the way to a L1 or L2 storyline.

BTW, in the thread discussing this change, I eventually decided that leaving the Industry Tutorial alone was the better call (though some of the wording should change). Being given a 5-run of Tormentors (and soon the other related ships) gives the new player a fallback position by mining - and making - their own backup ships early on.

I still don't understand why it was a good idea to make mining frigates into combat frigates, completely removing their role from the game, while making absolutely no changes to two existing groups of virtually useless combat bonused frigates, IE the Atron, Condor, Executioner, Slasher, Kestrel, inquisitor and breacher.

Oh and 1st!!

Probably just the next point release after Inferno. Probably, mind you.

So when do you get to capitals and freighters? Carriers look terrible in general (both visuals and scale issues) and so do dreads (mostly texture resolution problems and general lack of detail).

We have been monitoring all feedback threads regarding the Unified Inventory and the issues players had when trying it out on Singularity. If you could specify which bugs you are referring to, then we would be happy to give you an accurate response.

Specifically:

1) failure to handle object inheritance resulting in windows losing (not saving) their state as manifested by windows opening with no regard to original position, sizing, or contents.
2) work flows are negatively affected by extra clicks and odd filtering (like packaged ships failing to show up in the ships window).

There are many other specifics. Please read CCP Guard's thread here and comment.

This idea has hilarious possibilities: I could buy 150 accounts and form my own GoonSwOreM mining fleet of frigate miners !!! It would resemble piranhas at feeding time as they scampered to and from the roidz while harvesting and flying off to unload.

I like it ! We'd make Chribba proud!!!

If a player logs back in whilst his ship is still in space at a 1-million-km emergency-warp point, their ship will now be vulnerable to warp disruption bubbles at this location as it attempts to e-warp back to its original position.

Can we get some clarification on this patch change?

Specifically, suppose you log out in space without aggression. A 60-second timer elapses and you disappear from space. Some time later, let's say the next day, you log back in. Your ship appears in space 1 million km from your logoff point, aligns, and warps back to the logoff point.

In this scenario, when you log back in, are you vulnerable to warp disruption bubbles while aligning back to your logoff point?

i found the inventory UI in the test server problematic in therms of opening cans and wrecks in space (browsing be twin them), besides switching ships and show the respective ship and cargo hold (it lacks the practical simplicity of the interface that makes things easy and fast) ... this is another expansion with non practical stuff that will cause interface frustration among the players and add to the pissometer that should burst around the end of the summer if expansions continues this road.

on a positive note, the ships rebalance seems nice in a way that T1 frigates become something that players will actually like to fly.
(slight hit point buffer, useful slot ravemap, useful ship bonus) - keep the good work

the tormentor seems a bit redundant compared with the executioner ... same bonus, same hard point turrets ...

All i can say is that CCP did not meet 10% of players expectations.

Where is that war overhaul? All i see "change" in war dec fee and some holes fixed and you have it all in nice wrap now. Its not overhaul, its hotfix. What other games call patch you call expansion.

And what about tax and economy fixes you told us about?
We are getting only tax increase to 1,5%... I expected at least introduction of tax for changing order from nothing (100isk) to some percentage that would hurt botts and tweeks to taxing so that that players really feel taxes without skills and standings and that you cant get rid of it with standings and skills completely - it would be boost to FW too and FW players would update their systems for reduction in taxes (you could get new bigger low sec hubs) - but you gave us nothing.

Only nice and good thing here are missiles, and that is only 9 years late,
and maybe FW.

Better to take baby steps.

Would you rather have a 1.5% tax or a 10% decrease in bounties? Which do you think would upset folks more?

Atron, Condor, Executioner and Slasher all make good shuttles, and are good cheap tackle ships.

Kestrel and Breacher can be hard hitting ships. Just by the time you have skills for that most folks are flying other ships.

Don't mind me, I am just bitter.

I understand that we are talking about a very complex matter. My concern is that you might take things so slow that you will have to reassess frigates again by the time you plan to reach Capitals or T2 Battleships. I'd much rather see you change one ship class at a time, and actually touch every ship in this class, and explain, every time, how those changes fit into a detailed and clear long-term plan of ship balance.

Wouldn't that be nice?

he's talking about it remember it's postiton in space and in station, like the current system.

I'm all for the new UI in fact I've been defending it a lot. However, it needs to remember it's position in space, when you shift click windows open. Or make new tabs on the neo coms out of those windows. All of that needs to not be forgotten every time you dock.

'Defender Missiles: Defender missiles have now been split into size categories light and heavy.'

Quick question, did your team fix any other problems with defenders? Would be nice if you didn't have to manually fire each missile (no auto fire option), they weren't so buggy and sometimes do not destroy the missile it is targeting or if you can actually fire against people you target rather than just people who target you.

Tormentor will hold two light or one medium drone. A pair of EC-300s would be a standard option, but combined with the expanded drone list it could get more interesting.

I just wanted to contradict all of you whiners, and say I'm very excited about this expansion. The new missile effects look awesome, and I'm looking forward to seeing the new economic conditions put the squeeze on people. This should lead to lots of fighting and struggle throughout the galaxy, and it will be an exciting summer if nothing else!

On a side note, I'm still waiting for a sov system that allows small entities to survive in nullsec, and for a redistribution/alternate source of technetium (and other moon materials).
