I wouldn't count on receiving any isk whatsoever from goons. But most folks that participate in HG don't do so for money anyways. In that regard, I suspect it'll be a great success. \0/ for player created content!

Seriously: we are actually doing this. 100 million isk isn't that much for an alliance that reimburses 200m battleships by the hundreds.

I started early too... this was my first time out doing it and when i posted with some questions early.... some guy actually sent me 100 million isk and told me where I can find more info and such.

I fnd myself conflicted over this event.

On the one hand, many miners are doing so without properly fitted ships and without having obtained a license to ensure that all environmental regulations are respected. Here in Molden Heath, the good work of the Molden Heath Environmental Authority is finally starting to have an impact as the number of illegal miners has definitely been reduced. (Additional info at http://mhea.podpilot.org/). I suspect the same problems exist elsewhere in New Eden, and so this event will be helpful to all of us.

But on the other hand, it seems that no provision is being made for miners who do have licenses and mine in a safe, environmentally conscious way. What to do, what to do....
