What about some opposite event to Hulkageddon? - Would you...

All those neat lil gankers preparing for Hulkageddon (or what they call it) bringing up some ideas on my mind:

Since it is very easy to find out who is acting in it and where, i would love to setup some traps. Would at least be some difference to low and null sec action.

Like cloaked and fleeted action. Waiting for those punks and then watch them while they are exploding without even having killed one victim. I would love to bring in some logistic action or PVP vessels for protection. Right, the guns of their ships arent worth much, but its fun, and it is safe fun, since CONCORD will come very quickly. All you need is a target jammer and a cold beer.

Like loot their stuff. Simply when they exploded you can quickly loot their stuff, salvage their ships and even their victims, if they have some. With a bit of luck you can even get their secondary char when you have the loot rights.

I think, they know they gonna be ganked by CONCORD, all we need to do is decreasing their chances to kill fast enough or loot the stuff from their victims.

Lets make the gankers life to hell and ruin their fun a bit, it is fun for us :)

Cheers

Wouldnt the opposite of Hulkageddon be everyone making Hulks as fast as they can for a fortnight?

I'm pretty sure the organisers of Hulkageddon have been doing this for months

COME AT ME BRO

I'LL JUST BE DOCKED IN THIS STATION

To do this, the best would really be to not log on on 28th. Then they can rub their little e-peens in Jita all on their own ...

The issue is just, that the gankers will be preliminary ORGANIZED, and those who are their potential victims, are not.

You cant win that way. But if you organize at least a little bit.... Things turn ugly for the gankers very quickly. That's all :)

Wrong convo. This is about H'geddon. Jita is a whole other ballgame.

The only Red Flashies you will see are Capsules.

In truth, it's honestly REALLY hard to 'organize' against Terrorist Attacks. Think about it.

In truth, it would be honestly REALLY easy to 'organize' against terrorist attacks. The problem in RL isnt to organize, but the limits civilization has setup upon themselves, which indicates the difference between civilization and barbarism. If you answer terror with terror, you would have to decrease to its low level of social development. And that is what most civilized human beings will not agree to.

Here, we are in a game. And - i love this sentence - here we can live our animalic, barbarian and basic instincts with passion.

Their strategy is RANDOM ATTACKS. You CANNOT organize against unplanned, random, suicide attacks.

Period and final.

The only thing guaranteed to work is to dock up.

Period and final.

You obviously have never been through H'geddon before.

You cant randomize attacks. As you have to choose an easy target to be at least able to get it down before CONCORD comes, the potential target numbers is not very big. Further the number decreases, because a lot of those which would be an easy target are docked. In fact, my lil ganker, the chance that you will hit a target that is especially waiting for you, is very much bigger than during usual play times.

And i am not bound ot have success. If it happens that some noob like you steps into my trap, great. If not, idk. Else i do my normal business like everytime i am online. Whatever you consider as period and final, is just for you period and final. For 1000s of players it is not.

The only issue which is period and final: You will never be a threat to a prepared player, only to a unprepared. And that is what we are going to minimize :)

Looking forward to have you in front of my guns, hopefully.

Cheers

Hey OP, can I ask a question about the pirate cats in your bio? Where are these pirate cats? Are they real cats with fur and tails or are they like 1960's 'cool cats'.

Poor enough for not having success, pirates cat even fight solo.

Opposite of Hulkageddon - or rather an extension of it- should be the Noctigeddon and I think it should happen soon.
With mineral prices rising the salvage becomes cheap in comparison- so in the interest of a stable economy it is necessary that we take care of all those annoying salvagers. It is about respecting the dead npcs in their floating graves. Wrecks should not be disturbed and defiled. It is time to teach those graverobbing scavengers a lesson or two in decency.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.
