I can't believe you're all still going on about this. It's a game for adults, get over ir already. You'll end up pressuring ccp so much they'll turn it into wow in space.

I find your alliance ticker offensive. It's an obvious attempt to disguise the word "gay", a slur against homosexual people, by using a seemingly innocuous misspelling. It's pretty obvious to me that you are all deeply homophobic and, by using such a misspelling in a public arena, are calling for others to be homophobic as well.

Now, whether or not you are all genuinely homophobic really doesn't enter into this at all, right? Your intentions are perfectly clear: to make people homophobic.

My read on this is simple. The Mittani Apology was merely an attempt by said person to get out from under the heat his conduct has generated and save his place on the CSM, if he can.

The thunderous silence of CCP is indicative, in my view, of an attempt to wait for uproar this event has caused to dissipate. It is my impression, that for some reason, CCP seems to actually wants to keep this guy on the CSM and thus are delaying a judgement with an eye towards riding this out without removing him.

Also, with the way Devs are locking threads on this left, right and center, the intent seems more to squelch discussion of the matter by paying customers, rather than a desire on the part of CCP to actually listen to the people that financially make the continuation of EVE possible,

Simply put, the Mittani does not get it, and CCP does not seem to either. I would be very happy to be proven wrong on both these points.

The point was that the words themselves weren't the source of outrage, it was the person who said them. If it well and truly was the words, the outpouring of rage that took off on Monday would have happened within minutes of him actually saying what he did. Funny how that didn't happen, though.


But the rage started immediately in the forums. There were calls of outrage within minutes of the panel ending.

I see no difference between what The Mittani did and what happens in C&P on any given day in order to humiliate victims who try to bargain sympathy.
