Depends on what you mean?

There is only one type of player corp, but they do different things within that corp. Corps can have 3 states: active, in alliance/fw, or closed.

There are four types of npc corp: factional warfare corps that people can join and participate in factional warfare, starter corps in which a new character first is in but once they leave they can never go back, non-player accessible npc corps which players cannot be in at all, and holder npc corps which allow players to be in a corp in between player corps.
