Superficially that's true.

But even superficially it won't always be. The mention of T3 BS and the repeated mention of T3 Frigates suggests that, in the future the positions will be reversed - with Stategic Cruiser only applying to 1 ship but each of the subsystem skills applying to 12 (or potentially even more).

Is this even a competition ? With T3 you get the jack of all trades and the master of all of em !

Additionally, you have to train up drone skills (not necessary for Tengu) to get anywhere near the Tengu in PvE with your Nighthawk . (Has some benefits. tough)

Via the subsystem skills you can mimic pretty much every T2 cruiser/bc of that race, saving tons of SP.

Add to that 3 riggs, better speed/agility and lower sigradius.

Command ships are way more skill intensive, way less efficient and not really in the category of throw away ships, either.

In short: command ship 5 reporting in, give me my SP back *rabble* *rabble*

Please do start it. I sold my Nighthawk because it hasn't got enough gank to fly level 4s properly. Plenty of tank, resists and so forth, no complaints there, but it just needs a slight increase in gankiness in order to rock the way an expensive T2 combat ship ought to rock.
