Cant connect to game! Stuck on Selecting Character

I just activated my CD Key for this game, and now, I was about to start playing for real! I was so exited, but then, the horror hapened!
I cant log in! Let me elaborate:

I can go to the log-in screen, and I can select the character, but when I "Enter Game", it starts loading the character, and just stays there, it gets full, but I stay there, unable to do a thing.

I tried to delete my cache, and no dice! Maybe it has to do with the Incarna 1.1.1?

Please help!

I've had reports that simply closing the client and logging back in again has made it possible to log in just fine for other players that ran into this.

Should that not be the case for you, then please create a petition within the "Technical" category, or create a bug report, that contains the following so we can look into it further:

* A DirectX diagnostic report, which can be created as follows:
1. Press Windows-Key and R to open the "Run..." dialogue.
2. type "dxdiag" into the entry field and click "OK"
3. in the window that opens, click on the button "Save All Information" and save the resulting file at a location where you can find it again.

* a log from our logserver tool that catches such a failing log in attempt (see http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Logserver on how to find and use that tool)

You can attach this files a petition through the "My Petitions" section on our homepage.
