Faction Warfare Missions

Hi,

Thank you in advance for your answers.

I enrolled in the militia a few weeks ago. As far as the whole faction warfare thing goes, I am a complete noob. I am starting to run low on isk since capital skill books are f***ing expensive. I know that the faction warfare missions are great to make isk yet I have very little information on how to run them. I'd prefer the run these missions solo when nobody in my corporation is online. Since I do not have an alt (don't ask me why) I truly mean "solo".I am a pure minmatar pilot (in relative terms) and therefore I only have access to the hound. I can T2 fit everything obviously since I'm going for capitals.

I was told that due to caldari's stupid jamming, missiles, and poor damage type on the hound, completing missions would be nearly impossible. I'm here to ask for guide/fit/advice on IF it is possible.

Thanks,
Labceh

Step 1: Aquire ishtar, deploy sentries as soon as you warp in before you're jammed, nano away.
Step 2: Blueball super chair if he comes in your mission
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit

I heard the best way to make isk in Gallente FW is to put your alt in Caldari FW and run their missions instead.

I'm pretty sure that is what you all do. We even have some minny FW pilots running cal missions.

It's part of our counter-terrorism campaign.
1. We drive down payouts to the terrorists by increasing the supply of Caldari FW items, and
2. We use funds donated by their sponsors (State Protectorate) to kill the terrorists directly.

I hear gallente LP is worth more though, and you get upwards of 30k/mission, whereas most caldari missions are 20k LP

This is an outright lie. The upper limit of Gallente FW LP is nowhere near 30k lp. Your number is off by about 15-20%.

I would say if not impossible then very impractical. Caldari rats tend to spam a lot of light missiles, which will shred stealth bombers if they get into range (~30k range? I may be mistaken). Although your torpedoes can outrange the rats, orbiting a target at your stealth bomber's optimal will allow the small rats to catch up to you. Not to mention you would be permajammed as soon as you warp in. I don't think I have ever seen anyone solo a lvl 4 Gallente FW mission in a stealth bomber (unless its the starbase one).

If you are limited to frigate hulls I imagine some missions may be doable in an ishkur/enyo but you wouldn't be able to blitz them. For truly 'solo' Gallente FW mission blitzing you need either an Ishtar or a Tengu. Ishtars are usually shield/passive fit but I find 100MN AB / medium armor repper works too. Tengu is the ultimate lazy-man's boat.. just make sure you slap on an ECCM or two and you're golden.

Ask for an inty pilot to speed tank for you while you're in an SB. Or vice versa.

Not sure how the hound layout looks like but my Nemesis fit is something like this;

High Slots:
3 Torp launchers (I can fly Meta 4 atm, but you should be using T2)
Cloak

Mid Slot:
AB
2 Target Painters
1 web

Low Slot:
2 Ballistic Control (I have a problem fitting 2 of them due to pg/cpu issues. But I've seen others do it. I think they put an ACR to solve that problem)

Rigs:
Missile Damage Rigs

Your ideal damage per volley should be around 2,000. Due to my skills, I"m only able to get 1,200 and that's not enough. I have a difficult time breaking the shields.

High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .

Best bit is
Step 3: Talk a lot sh!t on the forums about owning squids in missions but never really do it because the only person in SOTF with the balls to go out and solo without 6 gaurdians to rep them is madbuster and loren

Get a good passive fit Hurricane (or drake if you can). Put FOFs and Smartbombs on it, get on top of the target, kill the target, warp out.

Super Chair - yet again you prove your newbishness.

The link works fine but CCP made it so external sites like killboards need a right click and open in new tab (which you then get the security caviat message) before opening.

If only you flew ships as well as you work the forum...oh wait, 64% killboard efficiency with eve-kill says you do. Congratulations on your hard fail.

Are you Damar's bitter apprentice? Lol
