That is true. I would say the smart will win over the dumb and this is never bad.

Smart never rules over dumb. Not even in make believe land.

Apparently. The word is "win" and not "rule".

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

I doubt the PVP will change much one way or the other. Smaller ships may be used more than larger more expensive ships. This is good for new players, it allows them to be competitive sooner rather than later. .

I don't know that this is true.

Sure, maybe it makes it so that some dude that can fly a T1 fit rifter will suddenly be on par with the rest of the universe in ability to fly....will they be able to afford it?

When I started EvE it was a good 6 months before I could even afford a hurricane. At that time they cost 18mil (they're getting on to 50 now). Instead of buying one, because I couldn't afford it.....a friend and I worked our asses off for a couple days mining the bullshit to build it. In the meantime we got our can flipped by some loser in the orphenage that was too arrogant to fit the right drones and I drove them off with a rifter that only had half the modules on it.....

Then I flew it into the most ****** up NPC thing I could find in hisec, got scrammed, webbed...destroyed...with no insurance first ******* thing I did. Within 5 minutes of it coming off the assembly line my first hurricane was pixel dust.

Point being.....it was a lot of work for us. Sure, we were able to fly the thing quite easily in a matter of weeks.....but actually getting to the point of being able to afford it, not so much. Now with everything being super expensive, I wonder if "the newbs" (do it for the children) are actually empowered at all by this change.

Sounds like you got a whole lot more gameplay out of that Hurricane than you would have from simply buying it from the market. In fact that's a nice MMO story there, it's got everything, a goal, obstacles, a villain, teamwork, achievement and finally tragedy that sets the scene for a sequel.

It's a bit of a pointless debate, CCP is finally dealing with cheaters (bots) and this is the simply (and temporary) result.

That said, the effects are for everybody, so as gangs have to downgrade newish players can compete better in PVP improving the game dynamics.

Losing a fight will mean more making the experience more stronger as well.

I blame this all on America going into middle east for oil. Gas prices are too damn high.

Posting on a thread the subject of which is already the subject of half a dozen other threads.
Good eye, OP.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Real trouble with this war was GW Bush was a crappy CEO ( he ruined the Rangers by losing Sousa too) he got America into a war for oil & we didn't get jack **** for oil outta the deal even after he proclaimed mission accomplished. Texan Presidents been the crappiest presidents the USA ever had
An' then Chicken@little.com, he come scramblin outta the Terminal room screaming "The system's crashing! The system's crashing!" -Uncle RAMus, 'Tales for Cyberpsychotic Children'
