What's the link to the official thread on the upcoming Des/BC skills changes?

Just wanted to post on there that I hope we get as much advance warning as possible between announcement of the implementation date and implementation - giving us time to remap and train those skills up.

You'll get plenty of notice before any change is made as CCP Ytterbium said in another thread they want to redo the destroyer battlecruiser lines before making the change.

As far as I am concerned the dev blog was the notice. I started training the needed skills on all my toons. I might have them done early depending on what the specific changes end up being and when they are finally implemented.

However I would much rather be ahead and ensure I get them than wait for the confirmation and not have enough time to complete them all.

If you want them that bad you should already be training them. BC and Des to 5 is a no brianer and the most time consuming. getting all racial skills to at least cruiser 3 is only 2-3 days per race from scratch. the +20 days for BC 5 is the one you need to worry about, especially if you do not yet even have BC 4.

They never gave a timeline for deploying it anyway... half the people out there panicked and assumed it was going to happen with the next patch despite it falling under the soon™ category.

In all fairness half of CCPs fanfest announcements never seem to come with a blog that explains what or when something is happening and the forums explode. Either way, all my pilots have been training them up. Blink

Maybe their giving the returning players a chance to train those skills up to.

Maybe they haven't the stable code perfectly done yet.

Never the less, eve has allot more people with BC5 and DS5 now then we did last month.
