Gate-key NPC is never there, even after DT? (DED Complex)

Hi guys,


As my topic states, I've been trying to do a DED 2/10 complex, and I've read they are often farmed by bots so I have to be fast to get the sade key for the gate. However everytime I login, the overseer frigate never spawns. just today I was the first one in the complex and there was nobody in local so there couldn't been anyobody before me and still no spawn. I kill all the frigates but there's no key to be found.


What am I doing wrong? Isn't the overseer frigate always there for the first one after DT?

I have no clue about those, but reading what 'difficulties' you encountered, i would once again propose to move those complexes to the probing system :)

[maybe ccp put in some measures to 'counter' ppl that go for this right after downtime.]

there are people who have every single gate key spawn locked down timed and camped with ships that can alpha it and pick up loot the exact second it spawns

This, some sites require the destruction of a specific structure that drops the key. Some sites require a specific structure to be destroyed to spawn the NPC with the key.

For a more detailed answer pertaining to your situation, you need to include more info such as the name of the site.

from what key he was looking for (sade) its the gurasta 2/10 and it does drop from a ship but its farmed quite often
