When did EVE Become Hippies Online?

There have been an abnormal number of carebear entitlement threads lately, and it's really starting to concern me. Since a game is only as good as the community, it concerns me that so many people don't understand this game is about PVP first and foremost.

Even if you never shoot anyone except an NPC, you're PVPing. You can't avoid it because this is a player driven market with a player driven universe. So stop crying about how you hate PVP while mining in hi sec and selling your minerals competitively on the market!

Instead of crying to CCP like a bunch of spoiled hippies preaching the need for eternal peace and love you should grab your guns and get to business.

'Nuff said.

Everyone is trying to bend the game to their will and seeing as CCP has tried to draw in more of the WoW crowd it means arenas for all \o/

Seriously though has the forums always been this bad? I remember in 08 when people told riveting tales about shooting each other in the face and actually laughing about it because back then they were able to come to the realisation that its a ******* game Roll

If the game is about community and the community has a different opinion then the underlined.

Then that is why they they release those patches that change the game.

Show me numbers that prove that for each and every issue. Because players hold different opinions on each and every issue. There is no central Care Bear agenda but a list of different positions each player holds on different issues. Two people who hate suicide ganking can have very different opinions on scams, cloaking, neutral RR, can flipping and ninja salvaging. They may not even agree on ganking, one could want it removed and the other limited to profitable targets or a risk vs reward rebalance. Many of these game mechanics are disliked by different people across all sec statuses and careers for different reasons.
