Since the collapse of xXDeathXx I've seen a couple ex-member Russian duders doing carebear **** in highsec. One of which was a bot. How do I know he's a bot? How do I know I'm not just making wild baseless accusations? Consider this short story

Guy shows up in a system me and a friend have been heavily Hulk-ganking in for the past couple weeks in effort to purge it of all miners. Just recently left xXDeathXx and mining in a Covetor. We blow it up. Local tomfoolery is had between us. He comes back in another Covetor, this time tanked, but I have **** to do and leave him for tomorrow. Turns out my reluctance to kill his tanked Covetor has given him the grace to grow some balls as the next day he's out in a Hulk

After watching him with an alt for awhile it appears A) His Hulk is fully tanked rigs and all B) He's a bot. Why do I think he's a bot? Our Russian chatty Cathy is no longer filling local with Googletranslated hilarity and doesn't respond at all to anything. He's just sitting in the belt with his Hulk, with the Iteron warping back and forth between him and the station, scooping his cans. Can flipping doesn't phase him. That isn't all

We gather our gankboats and fly off towards the kill. No response when we land. We open up -- and fail miserably, putting him into 25% structure before we're jammed by CONCORD and die. Whoops, -2 Thorax

After gathering ourselves up from our momentously shameful defeat we realize he's actually still in the belt with his 25% structure Hulk, mining away. No smack in local. Nadda

Yep, he's a bot

So at this point I throw all semblence of cost ratios to the wind. Time to get a Tornado and finish him off. But thanks to some EFT number crunching from a friend, there's some doubt as to whether an alpha strike from a Tornado will be enough to finish the Hulk off -- they have a lot of shields. It'll be close. So just to be safe, we get my friend in a ****** arty Thrasher just in case

15 minutes or so later and we're off again. I warp to the guy at 20 and sit there for a moment waiting for my friend to land. As soon as he does, BLAP. But wouldn't you know it, he still doesn't die. 5% structure left. Thank God for friends; he finishes him off. -2 Thorax, -1 Tornado, -1 Thrasher but -1 Hulk, too

Takes us a few minutes of self-smugging and gloating amongst ourselves before we realize something even better has happened. We broke the dude's bot. His Iteron was in the belot when the Hulk popped and must've screwed something up because 15 minutes later the Iteron is still in the belt, unmoving, and going into structure from 4 ****** belt frigate rats. It dies a minute later. Now both characters are sitting in the belt in their pods, so what else to do but finish the job and send them on their way.

So yeah, I don't know if this was his own personal bot or what, but if you see a Hulk sitting in a belt mining for hours with an Iteron warping back and forth, back and forth between him and the station, chances are it could be a bot and you should kill it

TL;DR We tried to gank a Hulk and failed with the Hulk in 25% structure. He didn't leave the belt as he is a bot (and ****** one at that). WE went back and finished him off 15 minutes later. 15 minutes after that we took out his pods. Also his bot-hauler died to belt rats after ganking the Hulk short-circuited his macro program or w/e. We took hilariously high losses (2 Thorax, 1 Tornado, 1 Thrasher, 1 Incursus) because we're ******* terrible at this game. He was former xXDeathXx and clearly a botter. His name is ****, send him some love.

Yeah I petitioned it including the story. And losses do not concern me, I don't gank Hulks to make money, and even with all those losses the Hulk alone is worth 2-3 times the amount. I'm just happy to be performing a service for Eve Online o7o7o7o7o7

Once you get it down, the profits you make from killing the badly tanked Hulks/Macks with Destroyers subsidizes the heavier hardware needed to bring down the tanked ones, and Orcas.

He also didn't respond to being shot at and kept mining at 25% and then 5% structure. His hauler didn't react to being attacked by belt rats. Then neither account reacted to being in a pod. How much crack do you have to smoke before this stops looking like a blatant bot and how have you not overdosed yet?

When people throw the bot accusation around I'm usually very sceptical.. but even I can see the bot here. Even AFK you'd think he'd have come back in time to save his hauler from rats.

I have also noticed several russian corps moving suddenly in force into my system as well. One of them has a 12 box multi boxer.. all blobbed together.. while I have no proof he's a bot, it certainly is weird to see him in my belt mining right through and on top of my ops.
