Do you know what I mean guys? Is there a way of doing that so later on I could use that as a mask for ships and objecta?

Frame by Frame.

You're not working with a consistent background, so everything needs (as you know) it's own layer or mask to separate it from the rest of the video.

Triexporter allows you to view all of the models in game and has a nice easily-keyable blue background, so you can Fraps the models and then key-out the BG and use them in whatever way you want.

But the models don't look so good and some of the channels are missing, or not plugged into the rest of the Trinity, so effects like illumination and reflection are not calculated.
