Don't get me wrong, I don't like carebearing, I don't do it myself. But if there will be more people like Herr Wilkus, killing legimate miners (botter - need to be killed, if you find them, tell me i will come kill them myself), where all of the shipbuilders get their material. The whole EvE community might come to a point where nobody mines helpless asteroids in high sec. Right then we will see all the gankers go carebear frenzy (doing missions, running incursions, ratting, plexing and mining) just to afford their 100mil Thrasher.

Lowsec? Popping cheap-ass, insured, Rifters and Drakes in lowsec is an abject waste of time.
Of course, its just fine if you are interested in pointless, semi-consensual sparring.

But if you want to inflict pain on others - you suicide gank in highsec.

TBH, the bots probably didn't care. But they are rapidly disappearing (kudos to CCP on that one) - leaving behind only 'real' miners in the belts....and killing real miners is FAR more entertaining than harvesting bots for Salvage.

I think its highly unlikely that EVE's economy will be reduced to 'everybody broke and mining' like in 2003.

To be honest, I almost feel bad for you. It's blindingly obvious that you are a social outcast who cannot manage in real life, and therefore have to spend your time in a video game trying to cause others too feel the pain that you live with every day. I love how people think the point of ganking is to make the ganker feel like a better pvper / eve player.

Gankers dont care, they dont talk about how epic win they are. They just laugh at peoples failure.
Its like the people that laugh when others fall, saying you suck and that must have hurt. Gankers dont say i would never have fallen, they just laugh at those that do.

In that regard, keep it up, nothing better than laughing at 9.74 bil in losses.

Also being a 2003 character doesnt mean he didnt buy it from someone in 2010... who knows, who cares, loss is a loss.

You don't get it do you? Herr's profession is causing chaos and destruction. Think of him as you would an arsonist; a psychopath who enjoys setting things on fire for no reason other than to see them burn and the aftermath. 9 Billion is 9 billion. It's no chunk of change for most people to simply scoff at. And if you do scoff at that number, I dare you to send me 9 Bil just to show it means nothing to you. Herr clearly states that he doesn't consider himself a pvp'er. There is a stark difference between pvper and ganker. Both have their unique qualities and skillsets; some more involved than others, but I digress.

Thanks for sharing this, Herr. It's a good demonstration to challenge the status quo. Lately that seems to be leaning towards keeping carebears safe. Well guess what people? You are never safe in EVE, no matter where you are. There is only the false sense of security.

Herr, keep reigning down death and destruction where ever you go. It's actions like that this that oil the economic cogs of our beloved game.
