old hurricane setup advice

I found this setup on an old form. I tried it just for a few missions in it seems to work well.
I have only tried a few missions with it. But it seems to go a lot faster and easier than my artillery setup.
Does anyone else have any opinions or experience with the setup now.

3 large shield extenders is a bit silly. Drop one for an invuln and you should be able to fit 425mm autos, increasing your damage and projection range. Dropping 2 of them for a specific resist against the rats primary and secondary damage should also give you more effective tank.

Otherwise, the passive fit is pretty much how one does L3s as a Minmatar.

The idea of this is to not have to run hardeners that need to be swapped all the time for different rats,
But to have so much shield HP that your passive regen can compensate for incoming dps, while your transversal
Adds to the defense. Haven't received blockade yet. But ran a level three against EoM rats that swarmed me
And I never went below 80 percent. With the tracking of the 220 and light drones ll I melted them down
Way faster then my arty setup. Taking BC rats down in 5 volleys. That same mission took 20 minutes for
The arty ship. Took about 5 min for this ship.

And what about weapon upgrades?

I started Gallente so for me Advanced Weapon Upgrades IV at least was not an option, but with Minie ships it's a waste of sp, I've got more cpu/pg I can ever use.

I never said that they were not. Most of the models are used from stuff I already had laying around. I will get t2 stuff when I can afford them. And also I am not currently at home to check but I'm pretty sure that I do have weapon upgrades at 5. But lets be honest while t2 stuff is great to have, it is not really necessary for level 3 stuff.

One of the "tests" I like is to run Recon 1/3, but not blitz it, kill all the ships that spawn in Room 1. If you can kill them all...

Tested setup against level 3 angel blockade. First try I popped to many triggers on accident and had to run. But even then my tank held enough for me to align and warp without armor damage. Second time I breezed through never going below 40%. Although going to swap for 425 ll for added dps.
