Hi all.

I got an imac (12gig ram) and now i tried to play eve.
The imac has a Radeon HD 6970M 1024MB and I don't know how capable that card really is.
Even in low settings it runs so bad (Inside the station) that I can't belive that the card is the reason.

Could it be a client problem?

what do you mean it runs "bad" ?

as for the card its very capable (at least for eve) ... check reviews on the web

i have iMac 8GB RAM with 6950 512MB and it runs very very good in station and in space

did you play with all settings ? LOD, AA, stuff ...

EDIT: aha i see thread subject name : how much FPS do you get actually in station and in space ?

I'm a diplomat. Sometimes i throw 425mm wide briefcases at enemy. Such is EVE.

Thanks for the reply.
Yea I think it is a specific setting I've done wrong. (The mac system is some days old and I installed Eve yesterday)
The low frame rate is only a feeling. Normally if I have 30fps in games it runs smooth.
But at the moment if I select low on all graphic settings it looks more like a slide show. (On high settings it is unplayable)
How can I turn the fps counter on? Sry I'm very new in terms of mac Lol

To turn on the FPS monitor it's the same as windows client (control-F).

IS there anything else you are running while using Eve?
