Returning char here.

So, what happened to the days of disco-gangs in Jita Popping everything left and right? I can't imagine that the arty changes altered the smart-bomb ability to clear an entire undock point of everything but battleships and freighters.

You cannot smartbomb in dockrange.

Would'nt mind if they also changed that for jump-range at the gates in hisec ...

Well you don't get insurance anymore if CONCORD nabs ya. So BS are too expensive to suicide with unless you get a really good cluster of macks. The tornado is cheaper and gets a really good alpha but with rising mineral prices it too is a rather expensive tool.

We use t2 fit catalysts to gank miners in high sec and canes/brutix/tornados to gank haulers in high sec now.

Confirming DPS fit Catalyst pwns hulks.

Largely wondering because it would seem quite plausible to nab enough to make up for losses at a station undock with numerous haulers.

They all died because of AIDS. You know, back in the days, we were all --oh wait. You mean, the other disco gangs ? Ah sorry I don't know.

Because players suddenly couldn't use expensive battleships and get their money back to soften the blow when they got GCC. Then they got tier 3 battlecruisers fitting battleship guns and catalysts with buffed hybrids amble to smash up hulks at a fraction of the value.

Talk about risk adverse (yes I am going there Blink) pilots, they suddenly get the advantage for more destruction but they refuse to allow hulks the chance to get a buff as well in turn to deal with the buffs of other ships. All they can say is "Like, fit tank mods and junk or gag on a spoon" because these same guys belive the hulk pilot needs to take action into their own hands. But Titans got nerfed in regards to loud bellyaching bitching about XL titan guns ganking sub capital ships (not much different then hulks), players unwilling to take action into their own hands by stepping up into capital ships that don't pop to Tital XL guns. Its so...hypocritical that Titans get nerfed down but the Hulk can't get buffed up since the Titan ganked sub cap ships while the Hulk gets ganked with low cost ships.

The different ships have a different purpose... it's like a '59 Chevy Impala vs. a 2012 Ferarri FF in a demolition derby... one's made of steel the other fiberglass Pirate

That's a real funny comparison.

You're looking to a hulk like this:

But you should look at a hulk this way:

http://www.kresscarrier.com/coal.php (weighing >450 tons, strong structure, Wheels > 3,50m)
