Ships for Hulkageddon

I have decided I want to gank hulks and miners in high sec.

Whats a good ship for that. I excpect to catch lots of crap for this but I dont care. I want practice for the next hulkageddon

Use a thrasher or catalyst. Get 2 or 3 buddies and you can take down any hulk in hi sec.

It's not really playing the game if I weren't to lose anything worthwhile from time to time..
As for expensive fit. It's still well below the damage caused upon a successfull gank.

I for one don't suicide gank miners. Never cared for it. This however doesn't mean I never looked into the kind of ships and setup I would use if I were into it.

In .5 any of the Dessies work for an average Hulk. Cat and Thasher are the most popular, but the other two can do just fine.

In 1.0 probably will need a BC (Brutix is good, and the t3s if you don't mind the loss of gun money).

Key thing is pre overheat since your going to die anyway.


Also, if you really want to kill a lot of them at once, get a smartie BS set up and fine a tight group of Macks in an ice belt.

And if you see me, please do try and don't give up after the first attempt. My Hulk is bored.

Back when I used to do it I found it most amusing to use a 1400mm tornado in 1.0 and 0.9 space where they feel near impervious. No amount of concord speed can respond to being single volleyed.

Then I had a buddy pick up whatever survived off my wreck to mitigate some of the loss.

I drain ducks of their moisture for sustenance.
