My main toon has contracted a negative balance Im shocked to find today after subbing back to EVE after a lengthy break. For myself, the owner of the account since beta, have never purchased ISK illegally but find after grilling my kid, he had indeed purchased some isk last year. As the account holder I have to take responsibility I guess. But the punishment..Ohh my.!!!

Now I am lumbered with my main toon unable to pretty much do anything at all, let alone play him with enjoyment. So my issue is this, although I do accept responsibility for this infraction, the punishment has rendered my playing experience with EVE, mute and dead, because my sole motivation to play was with my only real toon who I had scince beta.

So how can CCp think this is good for real business when the punishment is motivationaly destroying, period.? I have just paid them 2 months sub to find this crushing reality and now not sure what to do to get out of it. I will not buy more plex to please CCP.

I feel a 0 balance would have been much fairer or at least not soul destroying. Its not like he made anything out of buying some ISK to get a ship, hell take the darn ship..

Is there anything I can do other than use my low low alt to earn ISk and transfer to my main, or can I not even do this.?

I would like CCP to answer this if possible..Im at a loss and very dispondant about the whole thing. I was excited to come back to EVE for the new axpansion, but now Im just plain dismayed..

I did send a rather angry petition to ccp but it was based mainly on panic and immediate anger. So I do appologise for that. But please understand my plight. I asure you my son wont be playing my account again.. Grrr....(Cheese and water for a week)..JK**

Make your kid pay the difference in Plex - sounds like a fair punishment.

300m is little more then half a PLEX. Have your son pony up the $20 and sell it with an alt (can't use the market with a negative wallet) and transfer the ISK. Just don't go flying around too much with a PLEX in your cargo or you'll get ganked.

earn is on your alt and make your wallet positive.

Dont give account details to people who dont own the account. i.,e your son.

Your lucky your not banned for account sharing, although your admission in this thread of account sharing may well secure that as the only worthwhile outcome for people who dont listen to the EULA and expect everything to be given back to them because "it wasnt their fault"

You let someone else use your account, you should be banned. Be thankful for a neg wallet.

Go read the eula. You can share accounts with your children, since they are not legally allowed to own one.

Edit: on a sidenote, that part about account sharing hasn't been always part of the EULA anyway.

Translation: It really wasn't my son, it was me, but I don't want to accept responsibility for it so I invented a son I don't have to blame it on. Either that or you're the worst parent ever for not only letting your child get a hold of your eve password but also your credit card number, and on top of all of this you never bothered to tell him about avoiding RMT before allowing him to acquire both of those.
