Another War dec thread

Hi it's me again!

Well as there are so many threads on war dec's at the moment I thought I would share with you my ideas on war decs.

War decs ATM focus on the corp or the alliance and not the players. By this I mean if you war dec a corp the players can simply leave, leaving you with a war against an empty corp. What I think would be a better idea would be to use the corp/alliance as a means of identifying a group of players. So when the war dec is started and the deffending corp gets it's 24 hour notice it's its members who are targeted by the war dec as well as the corp.

So if a corp recives a 24 hour notice of impending war, so does each of it's members. If they choose to leave the corp they take the war dec with them which will last for 7 days after the war goes active before it drops, during these 7 days members who leave can only leave to an NPC corp and can only join the corp they left. This gives members the opportunity to get out of a potentially long war but not scot free.

Also if a neutral player aids a player at war (remote reps) they are included as a war target for the remainder of the duration of the war (asuming wars last 7 days before renewing) so if there is 5 days left of the current 7 day period thats how long they are an active war target.

Just as players can't join other corps other than NPC corps. So corps can't join an alliance durning an active war dec. If the corp is a member of an alliance at war and dropsout of it they take the war dec with them and can't join another alliance except the one they left untill the end of the war.

Well first as you started, there are a lot of thread about wardecs, why start another one?

second, they are looking at wardecs, cant remember which video but look though these

third, how much loyalty do people have their corp if they jump ship at the first sign of danger? Its rather easy to get those who alt war dec corps to give up on you, just ignore them, stay out of the trade hub, keep an eye on local if you do stay near them. most of the time they wont engage unless they know its a win.

AFK cloaking doesn't earn anything, so it needs a buff!

I like the idea of bringing wars with you, sticks till the paper work is completed. My thoughts were more towards protection money to prevent wardecs.
Pay it like renting an office, have it paid by region. Lots of things that could be done with this, but the effect is that it is protection money to CONCORD. Wardecs are basically payments made to the cops to ignore thier aggression. Would be a nice ISK sink, and an expensive way to buy peace of mind. Could scale the price by the size of the corp, but should be considerably more than what a wardec costs.
Would be a welcome dynamic, for a serious corp to pay for the security of it's members. It is the one thing missing about the wardec system. It wouldn't make wardecs obsolete, the insurance would be expensive, and it's what many corps did before with a wardec shield strategy anyway. I believe this needs to be looked at by CCP as a viable feature in game.
