Since 99% of the trit will come from miners.,On a long term it will be all about at wich price miners are willing to mine veld for.
So unless the amount of the Veldspar in High sec is becoming a problem I dont see why it should stay that high, now that a lot more players will mine.

Not sure if it will be 3 isk again before other Game-Changes will affect the trit price, tho

Serious honest question, is the current price of trit speculation and game changes? or is its the norm and its not going away.

With Drones alloys going away, with many Bot dudes getting ass kicked (lost toons = lost sp = less miners), with Meta1 mods being only manufactured items (this is just awesome) the Tritanium demand as it's price is not even close to go down.

These little changes have a huge impact on absolutely everything build from cheap ammo Shuttle to Titans and it's good for the game if titans price is 3 to 5 times more expensive than today, bad news is that BS's/cruisers/frigs too.
Unless something special happens (super ultra bionic atomic nuclear whatever bots) I see no reason for Tritanium to go down the hill or lower than 4.5 to 5 isk unit, I'm inclined to think it will stabilise around 6.5 to 7/8 isk unit for at least 6mths before it comes down to 5 once gank Thrashers start costing over 10M witch is obviously good for the game (or not)

I doubt it will drop below 5 anytime soon. In a few weeks all drone drops will be removed, which make up for about a fifth of trit IIRC. And supposedly Inferno will revamp the PvP, causing more demand for ships. They're essentially increasing the demand while cutting the supply.

Sounds like a way to reduce the overall size of the ships being used in conflicts.

It is, there has already been an influx of orders for smaller sized ships such as Cruisers and BCs, as opposed to BSs.

Nothing is certain when it comes to predicting future market trends, there are to many factors to consider, to many variables not under my control.

I believe watching current trends (of other realated market items) and keeping up with the latest news is the best you can have in being able to detect future and current price trends.

Never say never, but it is extremely unlikely during the foreseeable future.
