Isn't there an ingame channel full of people that'll locate people for ya? Or is this a myth?

locator agents are normal agents ingame (the ones that give missions)

not sure, but i think you need to have standings towards them (or their corporation).

for example you have 'Saonellieu Baerse' in 'Dodixie IX - 20'.

you can find them at http://eve-agents.com/

remember to select "Locator" at "Yes"

"Locates are us"-channel, the last time I checked.

And yes, you need standings of at least 5.0, since only L4 locator agents are useful.
