Returning to EvE, how to make isk these days?

I've just returned to eve after a long absense, and I need some suggestions on what is profitable these days, and how to set up my ships (it's been a while, to say the least).

I have three characters, one of them is a salvage character, but she also has good leadership skills.

My first combat character; Gallente BS V, training skills for a thanatos at present. Caldari BS IV, but not T2 cruise or torp skills, but all fours and fives in missile support skills. Perfect Tengu character. Both shield and armor tanking skills. Good drone skills.

My second combat character; Minmatar bs V, gallente bs IV. Perfect gunnery skills, not so good missile skills. Perfect Loki character. Both shield and armor tanking skills.

I want something I can do on my own, not dependent on others to be online. I'm not opposed to the idea of living alone in a wormhole or the likes if that might be the best way for me to achieve decent isk/hour.

All suggestions are welcome, and thanks in advance!

combat site exploration if you wanna go "solo"

Have your Loki pilot scan for signatures and your Tengu for DPS. Start with Highsec systems and once you got the hang of it, go to low sec. Fit both ships with the covert subsystem and a cloak, so you can be untouchable while roaming for signatures, and swap it for the DPS subsystem on your tengu once you find a worthy combat site.

Tengu tanks and kills everything fine , except the overseer in the 6/10 Sansha plex.

It may be one of the more demanding PvE activities, but surely also one of the most rewarding ones if you get it right.

botting makes a crapload of isk a month, but thats against the EULA, you could do a bank scheme and steal people's money, or do the same thing with lottos, or better yet, be an alliance nullsec leader and steal trillions of isk and assets from your sheep

Doing incursions you can make a lot of ISK (in a shiny fleet you can make over 60/70 mill an hour)

You need a well tanked ship with plenty of EHP and good dmg T3 would do fine, or alternatively a logistics ship

if you're interested check out this guide:

Thanks for all the suggestions!

An old friend of mine just suggested I come live with him, he's renting space in drone regions and has a fully upgraded -0.41 system.

Could that be worth it? The logistics is not a big problem, it's sorted already. How much could I make on doing drone anomalies with two battleships?

Oh its very much worth it.

How much isk/hour on average would I be able to achieve with two fully skilled battleship characters and a noctis?

I'd recommend incursions tbh, less dangerous, you can fly shinier ships, and it's easier isk (especially when you have more than 1 account running them)

Incursions does miss out on one of the things that are important to me, I want to be able to do them myself, on my time. Such is life when time is restricted etc etc.

Based on my experience, the bestest isk-spinning semi-solo activity for such a group would be a C3 w-system.

If you've also got some scanning skills in the group, are happy to leanr the ropes for w-space survival (it **is** different, and it's not for everyone), and are able to apply some fairly reliable time, then those two DPS toons and the salvager / leadership support toon would be able to effectively manage, and profit from, a C3 ... or a C4 once you're more familiar with w-space.

You would have to work, and it would not be without risk, but 1B a week is not a problem for a resident small-team in a C3.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.
