Plans to move NPC services to Player Corporations mentioned at Fanfest?

I'd heard this mentioned, but wondered if there would be clarification somewhere? At the moment I see that as another way to grief other players, but perhaps there's another motive to it? P

What you mean like, handing out missions?

First thing I would do is start sending people to kill the damsel in distress instead of rescuing her. She makes up for a fairly large amount of wasted resources since all she does is run back to Krull after being rescued.

Although I've still never figured out how he rebuilds his large collidable objects and various structures so quickly after being destroyed.

That woman.... The Damsel... She will never learn.

Once, I was given a task to rescue her immediately following the mission to rescue her. By my calculations, the amount of time needed for her to forgive Krull and run back to him clocks in at around 5 to 10 minutes.

Luckily, its been forever since I've run missions.... And thats a good thing for the Damsel.

Next time I space her and just tell my agent that she disappeared through the EVE gate.

The implication was more like normal station services such as med facilities/clones, reprocessing and so on.

Sig blah blah blah blah

I think her parents have to admit that their daughter is involved with Kruul, most probably in a mutual exchange of services for goods. Those drugs you keep seeing ejected with the Damsel didn't get there by accident.

It is not our place to intervene in the petty politics of families in New Eden. As long as they keep paying, I will keep rescuing. They can continue believing that their daughter is indeed a "maiden" since no one outside capsuleer circles needs to know about the Drop, Crash and Frentix she always seems to be escaping with.

I find it odd that she has an uncanny knack for escaping explosions in space, and that her drugs always seem to escape with her.

A professional astro-bastard was not available so they sent me.

Other services provided by NPCs that could be handed over to players could be research slots for copy/ME/PE/invention and manufacturing slots. CCP need only provide a means to rent slots to individuals rather than corporations. This will impact on New Eden Research, but then the reduction in NPC research and manufacturing lines will be A Good Thing™

It was a teaser anyway. "More to come...stay tuned."

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

1. Pay 1000 isk to NPC merchant, 1000 isk disseappers.
2. Pay 1000 isk to PC chump doing NPC work, 10 isk disseapers from taxes.

Awesome idea, offer services to the custmer and get rid of isk sinks that take out from the total pool of isk in EVE.

Services like that which are already in existance, don't need to be changed because they already have a fucntion and I would rahter biomass my toons then pay someone to update a clone letting someone have my isk (outside of isk for buying ships or modules). Now, CCP actually letting someone open up their POS slots, to increase research for other entities outside their corp...THATS a good idea.

There would have to be reasons why you're charging that much.

For example running a medical clone bay requires skills of a doctor and access to biomassing facilities planetside where they recycle people.

Also lab research must be done by people and no longer afked via minigame.

Same with manufacturing it be like tetris in a way.

Now corporation offices however hmm... probably have to be doled out though station upgrades.

Dont forget that Krull is rolling in ISK, he always has a new laser cannon for his Angels ship

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

Krull is pretty charismatic as well, always seems to be plenty of dumb people willing to die for him.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
