My understanding is that noob chat lasted for 30 days. But the second I qualified for L2 missions it disappeared. Any way to bring it back for the next 10 days? I don't want to pollute the forums with my noob-ish questions.

I can guarantee that the game does not check your standings to determine whether or not you see Rookie Help. It's 30 days from the creation of the account, not the character.

Regardless, you can just join the ingame channel "Help", which accomplishes the same thing.

What else do you think the EVE New Citizens Q&A is for?

There is no such pollution. It's like asking us for ways for you to keep from spilling a cup of water into a pool.

?

Ah, now I remember. It took forever to download the game after creating the account. I eventually had to install from the repairer as it was the only way it would install without error. It took like 5 days for the CSR's to respond.

Thanks!

Hello Nexus Day,

Yes it's 30 days from account creation. As stated before you can join the normal "Help" channel as well. If your looking for answers from ISD and such we monitor both channels when we are in-game.

Both channels are very helpful and i'm happy to see that you are using it. The only real difference between the two is that "Help" has experienced users who have been playing a long time(years) in it as well while "Rookie Help" only has those who have accounts that are younger than 30 days.

I hope your questions go answered :)

Feel free to mail me In-Game if you have any questions :)

I'd wager that the vast, vast majority of new accounts are alts, restarts or similar. The fact that many "act like they're new" doesn't necessarily mean a whole lot :)
