If a deced corp joins an alliance does the dec transfer instantly

If I have a corperation joining my alliance and they have a dec that is ending in 20 hours. If I were to accpet their application would the war become active to my alliance instantly or would it have to wait for the application to finish processing?

Application has to process before the corp is actually part of your alliance. Once they are, though, the dec transfers. I'm pretty sure another 24hrs has to elapse before the dec becomes active to your alliance, though.

There is a 24 hour delay after an application to an alliance is accepted. The application isn't active until then. Once the time has elapsed, the corp officially is part of the alliance, and any inherited wars are active on the alliance.
