Hypothetically speaking of course

If someone told to you to wait till the next day and see if it changes after downtime and the next day you replied it didn't and you then received the reply "Then the skill does not help". What would you think about the answer you got?

It seems pretty lazy to me.

Diplomacy by definition would seem to be just for this scenario. It would be better to fix a problem than sweep it under a rug IMO. The way that CCP wants to FIX FW I would think this would be one of the priorities to fix stuff like this.

Diplomacy

Skill at interacting with hostile Agents. 4% Modifier per level to effective standing towards hostile Agents. Not cumulative with Connections or Criminal Connections

Thanks for your time...

You need .5 standing with the faction you want to join. Your corp also needs .5 standing with the faction you want to join if you do it as a corp. Diplomacy does not affect this.

Diplomacy raises your faction standings towards hostile agents. The problem is no one made it work in factional warfare.

Diplomacy raises your faction standings towards hostile agents. The problem is no one made it work in factional warfare. The character in question is in a Minmatar newbie Corp trying to join the Liberation Tribal Force.

Well, if you are hell bent on getting to militia as fast as you can, toss the character some isk, get tags and visit appropriate data centers. Should not take too long even if you take the "economy class".

You need standings with the faction, not with its agents.

Good point. Whats weird is it says my standings are adjusted to .71 with the Minmatar Republic and all I need is .5 That is where the confusion comes in.

Thanks for the advice. I am just trying to get this fixed for the next person who needs it I guess. I will read up on tags.

If you're really set on joining FW you can always just join a FW corp, plex for their faction, and correct your standings that way.

Are you able to do the same turn in with the same agent multiple times?

I read no your not, OH well...

This was the ticket. I did one turn in and done. I was lucky I did not have much further to go but grinding missions for story lines was a pain. Thanks again

I think I would like to get feet wet into FW through Liberation force First. Good advice though. I want to fly with a few different corps before deciding on which one. I don't care for Corp hoping so I want to make sure before hand. I just wish CCP would make it easier to join for those of us that are friendly with pirate NPCs to try out FW.
