One Simple Question (I think the answer is owed to many players.... yes... FW)

TBH you should focus on fixing your ships fits before CCP works on fixing Factional Warfare.

Wut

If that was my primary concern in the game, I would have made a thread about that. My personal concern is FW, and so here is my thread.

That should be your primary concern. Until you learn to fit your ships, you are not entitled to an opinion about FW. It's people like you that make CCP avoid FW like it's the plague. You reinforce the idea that we're all clueless noobs.

TL;DR
Learn to eve before trying to teach CCP to eve.

Ps. I was there.

Carthas, show some respect. Everyone is on a different learning curve when it comes to Eve, even veterans have things to learn, and no one's opinion should be invalidated because YOU don't approve of their fits.

Seriously, this is Eve. There are infinite ways to fit ships, much is subjective, and you are not the judge and jury.

So his fits are fail to you. Whatever. But there's no need to be an ass and shoot down someone who is simply interested in the fate of FW.

I dont give a crap whether everyone else thinks that FW is full of scrubs or now. Those of us who actually participate regularly know better. The rest of nullsec l33tists, or CCP dev's, or whatever, who aren't paying attention, shouldnt be getting so much under your skin that you need to **** on someone you deem not as worthy as you.

FW is not simply for the pro's. Its for everyone. There just happen to be some of the best small-gang PvP'ers in the game in the community. That doesnt mean everyone has to be.

This kind of ridiculous trolling is counterproductive, and shows poor sportsmanship. Grow up.

I agree, I might've been a little too harsh in my judgement of his fitting (it's still terrible). However I was simply trying to point out that maybe someone a little more credible should be representing FW, maybe yes, maybe no. A noob (no matter how good his intentions might be) is never going to be taken as seriously as a veteran player with deep knowledge of the game (especially FW in this case).

[A change they should look at is making missions, and even plexes, more friendly to fully PvP-fit ships. You shouldn't even have to consider refitting a PvP ship in order to complete them more easily. The PvE should be a minor extra to keep you busy while you wait for enemy players.

This is something that CCP needs to decide. Is FW going to be yet another method to shoot red crosses or is it going to involve small scale and solo pvp? Because the 2 do not mix.

The rats do nothing but deter pvp. There have been many times where I would have loved to fight but my tank was already halved by npcs. Hence I had to warp.

Under the current system ank capped hundreds of plexes without a single pvp kill. That is why occupancy plexing is viewed as a joke.

It can be easilly fixed and, indeed, in the thread she was bragging about capping all those plexes someone recomended the solution. Let militias know when a plex is entered!!! Let them fight for it in pvp ships.

You should pop over to this thread and generate some more discussion on the subject:

I don't know what that guy was talking about fits... I thought he was saying that CCP needs to balance some fitting issues, not my personal fits lol... wtf is someone checking a posters fittings on whatever killboard, then trying to shoot down a post talking about EVE development using non-referenced fail-fits as ammo :|.... just wow.

But like I said, I can't moderate this thread, but keep in mind the purpose is getting a FW answer, not FW discussion (good one going on the the thread I linked) and not hilarious trolling ;)

I'm so tempted to just flame at how strange this train of thought is... but all I will say is that I've been in FW for years, with its PvP being my vastly primary activity. I have more than enough experience with FW and its lack of change/communication, to demand that we get some form of info about it.

Also, I'm proud that I experiment with my fittings, and I generally do quite well :D

If you still think I'm not credible enough, please have someone who is, create their own thread to represent FW, and we'll both be happier.

There is no need to feel guilty about your fittings, fly what you know and enjoy. It's all subjective. Same with credibility about FW - there is no requirement or qualification to have an opinion and share it. Everyone's feedback is encouraged and welcome.

The more people that speak up, failfit or no, the more CCP knows that we will not stop until they make good on their commitments to the FW community.

Just a reminder to any Devs/moderators/GM's listening - our community was stood up fanfest. Some players flew out there specifically to sound off about the part of the game they love and talk with developers, and were denied this opportunity.

That absence alone should be incentive for CCP to show militia members the courtesy of a response. If players can spend 13 PLEX and a plane ticket to Iceland to share their views only to be ignored, than surely there is one person on the Development team that can offer those players the courtesy of an hour of their time to respond in a forum post.

There you go. That's what this is all about: Guilting CCP! heheheh, no but seriously, there are so many legitimate reasons why they should address this. That's the kind of post for this thread.
