Please Help: Map animations not working

not sure if I messed up my map settings, or if its a bug, but when I open my map, and when I select stuff like "station count" or "average pilots in space" ect. there is no animation to show the amount (before hand, there would be yellow circles to show the concentration, but now that has gone).

I now have to move my mouse over each system separately to gain any info.

Things I've tried:

Re logging
Clearing my catch
Resetting my settings

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
