Geesh, another one proclaiming his/her departure on the forum.

If you dont like it then just quit. Dont go all space opera about it. Sack your collection of cyber stuff and be done with it.
Seriously do it or dont, but it's really degrading to step into the spotlight with it for whatever personall reasons.

You go your corridor but.

I advise just canceling your account. I played since closed beta phase 3 and did what you're about to do because they didn't fire t20. Well, guess what? I'm back and this is my main now. I would swim to Iceland wearing chainmail and give away free handjobs in the alley behind CCP if I thought it would get my character back. No matter how pissed you are, it's not like there are a lot of options for sandbox MMOs and you might be back some day.

Well I've had enough with EVE being broken. Everytime I do something pvp wise bugs start rearing thier ugly heads.

today, I warp in with 2 ships (both cloaked) to a wormhole from 2 different locations. I warped one to 10 km from the WH I bookmarked directly, and the other ship I warped to at 20km.

BOTH SHIPS got decloaked somehow. one landed at 3,795 km from the WH, the other landed at 18km. so they didn't even land close to one another, ok great.

SO HOW THE **** DID THEY BOTH GET DECLOAKED!!!!!!!!!!!

well done CCP. another "patch" delivered today breaking more stuff. You ARE AWESOME.

in 10 hours time each of my characters across 4 accounts will be recycled. Won't be returning. I'm giving NOTHING away. in 6-7 years of playing I've accumulated over 100 bil in assets. Deleted. I want no excuse to return. You have failed in fixing THIS BROKEN ******* GAME.

HILMAR YOU HAVE LIED TO US AND FAILED AT YOUR JOB.

I hope the goons live up to thier promise to burn jita. Make this game unbearable to more people quit CCP doesn't deserve such loyal players who have stuck around for so many years. They used and abused us, lied to us. Promised many things and have given us a pittance compared to what was promised.

**** you CCP and **** YOU Hilmar.

Good luck matey, I think alot of us vets feel your frustration. To all the trolls you only wish you had the balls to do the same.

You're doing the right thing, biomassing. Everyone is very impressed. But have you put any thought into what to do with your stuff?

Being deleted along with my characters.

yeah 100 bil doesn't make me the richest guy in EVE. But it's given me alot of options. It's all being biomassed.

Apparently your options have included being terrible at wormholes, everyone knows not to warp at 10km. For one thing, if you BM'd from scanning it then its position isn't guaranteed, even with scanning skills to 5 there's some deviation.

Also, whs decloaking radius >= 2000m. Another well known fact. Although getting decloaked at 18k id hazard a guess you landed on a drone/corpse.

So come on, cough up the loss mail.

Wrong wrong,

It hasn't gotten anything to do with scanning skills or randomly warping anywhere.
Let's get this straight on how the game actually works ;)

You have two different things: The deadspace signature(the one you scan) and The wormhole beacon itself(the one you jump through) seen here http://i40.tinypic.com/sxeo8o.png

The deadspace signature you don't BM because it's +-8 from the WH- you BM the WH beacon itself. After DT the WH beacon sometimes moves slightly.. - also note you don't always land straight on top of the WH sig so you don't always decloak when warping to the wh sig at 0 for the first time

It can be seen as a bug but sadly it's how the game works at the moment.
Having gotten this straight and helping you understand the game I have more than enough right to have some of your assets

No, not really, I do not intend on leaving this game nor have I had the urge to do so for the last 7 and a half years.
I highly doubt hes actually going to do it and I eagerly await to be able to get home and see if his character is still in game.

Good luck in finding a game that doesn't have bugs.

The more the game has functions and mechanics the more you can expect it to broke. Fortunately CCP even fixes bugs every now and then: a luxury that not all MMO's don't have.

Consider it a miracle that Eve isnt buggier considering the amount of content added to a 9 year old code and what not.

In fact part of the :18 months: was due to CCP putting a lot of resources in to the Carbon project - ie: refactoring a lot of old code.

EVE is significantly less buggy than it was when I started playing in 2006.

But yes, you are right: real time code of that maginitude & complexity will always yield a certain amount of "unanticipated behaviour". Not to mention people who can't tell the difference between client side or connection issues vs server problems.

A shame. You could have made some poor new player's day. Either way, enjoy whatever other buggy game you venture into.

Indeed. Eve is a lot better now and I havent experienced a bug for god knows how long. And I can relate to back in 2005 when I started playing. The difference is huge and the quality in this game is not easy to match with other mmo's
