  • Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? 1) stuck without any graphics but a bare nebula background image after jump, needed a restart to fix. 2) After undocking, stuck at "Checking Navigation Systems", no ship modules UI visible, no window (pin, minimize, close buttons). After hitting ESC, window ecorations appeared, but still not module UI. Problem persisted through two redock/undock cycles, and disappeared on the third try.
  • Did you notice any problems with the buff bar (above the ship ui)? no, didn't monitor it though.

Had some issue with ship cap and module area after being moved, had to relog to get it back. Had 1/3 shield down after relog.

During the fight at the gatecamp some fight effects like explosions and stuff remained on screen without textures after they should have normally disappeared. I have similar issue on TQ with a different PC, that one runs a 512 Mb video card, and it happens when travelling through many systems. I assume it is VRAM fillup related? That is also when my FPS significantly dropped to the point of being barely playable.

One, but I suspect it was because I was frapsing and accidentally alt tabbed.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:
Experienced some very odd graphical glitches, where the gate fire was constant on the gates and very bright white, also bubbles were textured but not colored in the same way as gate fires, restarting the client fix the issue.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: So many ships - awesome! During the fight the client response was very bad. Couldn't overload my weapons, until i used the context menu to do it. The new fadeout in the overlay looks nice - maybe too nice and flashy to be really useful though.

Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit.
Core 2 Quad, 2.4 GH
8 GB RAM
Radeon 6800 Series, 1 GB
3 clients, all in windowed mode with settings turned down to lowest possible.

Participated with 3 characters: Demarcus G1, Hamster Too and CareBear Forever. Everything started well, decent frame rate when switching between clients. CareBear got killed just after the POS was destroyed, pod warped to a planet, client minimized.

Hamster had to re-log after jumping into 6-CZ49 as the client became unresponsive. Overview failed to load, right-click did not have any orbital bodies listed, no way to warp to anything. Right-clicking on a fleet member in the watch list did give me a warp to option but despite multiple attempts to warp to Demarcus (he was in the same system) nothing happened. Got killed after re-logging, so two characters out before the official start of fleet fight.

Demarcus managed to survive and was generous in applying webs and warp disruption field generator both during the ECM test and later during the fight. Hopefully he generated plenty of data Lol.

Today was the first time ever that I survived to the end of test and I am pleased with client performance. At first the client was laggy but I blame it for me being zoomed in, after zooming out the frame rate improved and client was much smoother. I did not experience any module activation lag.

P.S.
I can't really compare test and TQ performance as I don't participate in large fights on TQ. I did not notice the buff bar, I guess no one deemed me worthy of his/hers ECM on me Smile

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: went ok, did have a texture problem once on the eza side of the gate. ship was all white (megathron) and once cloak came off it went back to normal after fully decloaked. Once the capatials (i was in the fleet w) of the enemy came in, thier bubble went all white and and stay that way the whole time. so eveything was a total "white wash" and couldn't see anything and the FPS hit bottom at about 5fps and toped to about 10. sent a screenshot of the whiteout problem to bug log.
