Now the Gallente are demanding I need to do my citizen duty for the federation and make a ship that can match the Amarrian's Deliverence.

Well pulled out a really old blueprint brushed it off and updated her to have cruiser cannon mounts and an expanded drone bay.

As with most destroyers shes an easy target, however she packs a particularly nasty bite with 3 cruiser turret mounts and a cruiser sized drone bay and enough link for one flight of mediums. Though drone bay space is still limited and only has one room for a wing of mediums or two wings of light drones. Most of her software though is configured for gun control, range and maximised hurt.

However it seems thier budget deparment cannot afford the drone links and bay from Cedro, it may get scaled back to 25mbs or even smaller. Citing the ship's software makes the platform reliant on her guns to do the most damage, not her drones.

Previously:
Built at the Amarrians request they wanted a 'very small' cruiser.

Well they got one in a form of a destroyer I decided to go back and rebuild up to current standards.

Jokingly called the babydon at the yards, because of the heat sinks I had to install to ammount for the new cannon mounts. This destroyer mounts 4 medium laser cannons, and is just as fast and small of a signature as the coercer.

As with most destroyers her defenses are something of desire.

I was just thinking that myself. Since they have the T3's out and are changing up the BC and destroyer skills to racial's, why not introduce a destroyer with cruiser guns, but with a half rack like Nova's.

Well done! The destroyer looks great. The tier 3 destroyer going to medium guns is something I and I think CCP have been thinking about ever since they launched the new tier 3 BC's. I mean it makes perfect sense if and when the change the skilling system so that pilots can now have the proper sized gun trained "before" they move up in the next size/class of ships. Destoyers and Battle-cruisers make a great transitional class of ship.

Now we just need tier 2 destroyers(or a proper role for said ship when tiericide happens). Would really like to see 3 Destroyer hulls along with the 3 battle-cruiser hulls we have now.
