Eve gate issue on mac

Ive had this issue for a while now and am now wondering if anyone else is having the same issue. When I open up eve gate on my mac and try to send a mail, post anything, the following message pops up.

"Message body can not be empty.Why do you want to post an empty message?"

The thing is, the Message body is not empty!!!!

I'm using Google Chrome as my browser if that means anything, but I get the same with safari when I use it.

I don't have this issue on my iPad or iPhone, just the computer!

Any thoughts?
