Morphite and T2 BPOs

I was thinking about how the forthcoming drone nerf may effect Morphite.

The drone minerals from Opulent Compond will be replaced as best it can by mining.

Now most of this mining will take place in 0.0.

I would have thought that a lot of t2 BPOs are owned by peeps with contacts to Nullsec alliances.

So a lot of mining may go directly to T2 production without hitting the markets.

This may increase the pain of those based in empire who buy Morphite to T2 production based on evention.

People who are doing evention have nothing to worry about because it does not exist.

Dude you're well late. morphite has tripled in price and will become possibly the rarest mineral in Eve.

?? I do not understand what you mean...

w.r.t. to bring late. I am aware of the increase, however I think it is still underpriced, I was exploring where the future supply of Morphite will go, and how much of the mined supply will end up in the open market ( Jita )

If relativity equals time plus momentum, what equals relativity, if the momentum is minus to the time?

That's only part of the picture though.

Ring mining, if it is released in addition to current moon mining, is likely to reduce moon mineral prices.

FW LP stores, depending on the isk component of the offers, could reduce datacore prices.

So we could see a reduction in margin between T2 BPO and invention costs.

That's about where I expect it to end up. The ISK/hr of mining Morphite has to be roughly in line with regular mining or just ratting / running anoms. Assuming you get 4200 units/hr from a skiff with Rorqual/Orca boosts, that probably puts the price at around 15k/u (63M/hr).

(Not sure whether my 4200/hr number is correct as it comes from EFT and back-of-envelope math.)

Well Morphite certainly saw some upward movement today.

I bet nullsec industrialists are dreading the forthcoming mining CTAs!!

Also expect to see more afk cloakies....

people gonna hate for what im about to say

Laterally im seeing ALLOT of T2 BPO's all over the markets.

Either there is a silent nerf coming OR
people getting the ISK out of selling the T2 BPO's and using it as investment capital for the obviously soon to be inflated Minerals/ships/something, then hoping to buy back the T2 BPO's at the same price -paid without losing out on the panic buying.

so whats goin on?

Markets in EVE are tidal. They rise and fall a few times a year and the variation can be 20% from one end to the other. If I want Morphite I will simply reproc small items that need only one when I can get those items cheap.

During fanfest CCP mentioned "ring mining" as a proposed method of gathering moon minerals in a distributed and group based activity rather than handing moon minerals to alliances through moon mining point sources.

That's pretty much all we have on it at the moment, but none of that should really come as a surprise as we knew something was coming to break out Technetium from it's currently state.
