Jesus christ, how high are you trying to make PLEX prices go up to CCP? wtf

Please make them available for longer periods, you just know theres couple Russian or Chinese farmer dudes out there that are going to just buy them all in 10 min with there 200 accounts they have each.

So please make them available for longer and if possible only possible to be bought by people who have active account for more than 6 months or something so you keep the farmers out of simply buying a plex making a full account and buying a new video card every 5 min.

Other than that I must say that I would also like to see other pc components on the store and also since dust going to be only out on ps3 make those open for this kindof trade also.

Thx, for this opportunity I need a new video card but I don't have 20 plexes and i'm pretty sure they already sold by now.....

oh and I forgot to mention this but 600mill for a plex????

Now that you have us b the balls I think you can just for a little while go back to the old 30/60/90 GTC prices.

How about a little respect for the cominity that pays your bills and sends your kids to school?

Not to mention that cheaper plex is the more chances you have for me (and many other) to reactivate all ther accounts. (got 5 accounts here dissabled that id like back on).

If you would pay those with plexes, ccp is not interested.

The higher the plex price, the more people actually buy plexes. These people pay the bills, not your "plexed accounts" because when people buy someting, real money is transferred into ccp's account

I love this and just hope they are not all sold in mins.

Being laid off and having an old crappy graphics card, my time in eve will pay off big time if im able to upgrade my graphics card with my eve plex.

They need more offers like these.

OF COURSE They will give you a gtx 560 for 400 bucks; you can get one for 100 bucks. Geez, Send me ONLY 10 plex and I'll gladly give you a gtx 560 superclocked. This ISNT against the law or ccp's rules either; you CAN trade plex for items just NOT trade plex for cash or currency. So, if you want to get TWO gtx 560's, just avoid ccp's deal and send me 10 GTC's (20 plex). I swear, I'm not joking. We can even do this through ebay as an official trade, protecting you from any scam (with ebay buyer protection).

I hate nvidia. I just bought a new card, a ATI HD 6990 with 2000 stream processors versus the 400 stream processors of the NVIDIA 560 superclocked (these are estimates and you can get technicall however, there is AT LEAST a 1400 stream processor difference for the SAME PRICE).

I hate ccp more than nvidia; at least nvidia gets their **** right before making you overpay for their low performance crap. CCP on the other hand, makes us pay 20 bucks a month for BUGGED CRAP. I am however, proud that they are trying to fix the bugs now so much more than ever BUt they didnt do this cause they wanted us to get our money's worth; they did it cause they realized how many people were leaving eve because of the bugs.

It takes money to motivate ccp, not good morale.

On what is a basically unrelated note, the technical particulars of a card matter precisely sweet f-all. The only thing that matters is benchmarked frame rates. That is all. You can have 5000 stream processors and more shader cores than you can poke a burned stick at, but if it gives you 10fps on 1900x1200 on Crisis with maxed settings, then it's a POS.

Absolutely. I'm going to try to buy several of them, but I doubt I'll even get one before they sell out.

+1 for the idea
ill try to buy a card today
1 plex is worth to me the time i spent in game to make those 500-550 mil
i mostly enjoyed making the isk
also a lot of exagerately optimistic people here
ccp says its GTX 560, so many people hopping to be 560 ti, or 560 ti 448 , dont you think they would have said if it were the better variant?
also why is GTX 560 old? has been launched 11 months ago as a midrange card, for EVE you dont need the latest and greatest
GTX 680 just launched is on a different price range
GTX 660 is around 1-2 months away at least

Anyone know if this is just a standard card?

I'm considering buying it if it comes with some Eve-themed goodies :P Even just a logo on my graphics card, or maybe a little collectible something in the box would make this worth it for me.

Not a fan of the idea as you basically pay double in PLEX for a product that doesn't even come close to its relatively pricier "big brother" 560ti in performance and as a consumer, I would feel like I am making a really bad purchase.

It depends what those PLEX are worth to you.

You could say that a PLEX is worth a month of subscription, 500m isk or 1/20th of a graphics card.

To me a month of subscription is worth 500m isk. 500m isk is worth very little. 1/20th of a graphics card that retails at (for the sake of argument) £100 including delivery is worth £5. Of those three options 1/20th of a graphics card is worth the most, to me.

To someone else the relative values of those three alternatives could be completely different.

As far as i'm aware the card won't even fit in your ****** computer case anyway and you'll have to buy a new PSU and your cpu will bottleneck the GPU. But you can't... cause you like to spend all your money and boose and drugs and you thought you were cool.

For the same sake of argument, I can spin it around and ask you how much are you prepared to pay for a product that is close to a year old?

Even if I am paying with internet spaceship money, I do feel like I am being ripped off.

GTX 560 is arround 150 € here. Cheapest Plex (legaly) is something like 27€ for two of them.

The idea to be able to buy stuff with ingame money is awesome, although I wouldn't mind to buy one GTX 560 at that price. More of them please! It's the right direction, as you can see with blizzards (sry, had to mention it) D3 RL auction - house.

It's a nice deal for ppl who would like to pay s.th. with their time.

It's a ******** direction. And blizzard is a bunch of **** tards that rip people's throat and people are thanful for it

So we have to pay almost double in price for a vanilla card + we have to pay the customs taxes in some cases + get a new power supply in order for us to use it not to mention the astronomical power usage of that card. Seems to me this is only bringing more headaches then doing something good

It sounds like you're confused. You don't have to get it at all.

Hope this helps.
