You didn't have to participate to the fanfest in order to get that "20 plex promotion" I know there was one at fanfest and one on the april 12th
Mine was from the 100 cards offered for 20 PLEX each on EVE's account management page, all of which sold out within a minute. Don't remember the exact date, but it was about 2-3 weeks ago, so April 12th sounds right.

I have never been to fanfest...so yes. i was one of the 100 who got one within the 1 minute and 48 seconds :)

EDIT - I too got no email stating a date, just a knock on the door this am :D

Yeah. i was one of those who was spamming the f5 key every 5 seconds for several hours. Also.. ccp say 1 minute and 48 but i call bullshit.. i reckon it was under 30 seconds..

If you check your account at transaction history the seconds are a bit different, at least mine were.

My card is stuck in customs.
More precisely, I had a phone call from a courier company's customs empoyee, who said he would make me an offer for taxes&duties, postage cost to my home, and - of course - payment for his services.
This is a known - and partly legal - sort of thing. These ppl make a living by charging outrageously high amounts, just to pass ppl's stuff through customs. (Of course, the customs officers cooperate with them). Typical charge is 80EUR, for simple packages like this.

(And of course, it would have been avoided if you had posted the cards to EU winners, from within EU. Anyway.)

In short, to handle this affair, I need what you promised but never delivered: tracking number for my card and which courier service handles the package. Please, e-mail it to me ASAP.

If you want me to petition for it, just say so.

I need the tracking number to find the specifc customs office the card now is, to speak directly with the customs officials - unfortunately, each courier service can decide where it shall pass customs, and they make a hefty profit with this scheme just because ppl like me live 500km away from the capital, where they have their customs sevice.

If you don't bother helping me, I won't have any means of finding this package and - since I won't pay 23% VAT, about 3.5% import tax (added to whatever base price they decide is the correct one) plus about 80EUR (typical charge for their services) I will ask them to return it to you. (They'll do it anyway, after a few days if I don't pay them).

So, tracking number plz!!!

you know that you wont get any help in here if you post on the forums right? the only way is to petition and since CCP has no CLUE what Nvidia is doing your pretty much left in the dark. And you were warn when you did the deal that the VAT and customs office tax was your DUTY.

Has anybody received a card in America yet? Considering these cards were supposedly shipped from California, I find it odd that people in Europe are the only ones saying they have gotten their card. I guess I'll have to spend another day watching for FedEx.

The GM said that the last batch was sended yesterday and i guess most of them are being sent to Russia

What backwards currupt country do you live in? I tracked my package onine and it took 3 mins to clear Irish customes with no problems.

Id call the police if somone called me trying to scam me for that kinda money

Don't worry mate, i'm in simmilar position as you are... at least "Flying Cargo Bulgaria ltd." (sub contractor for Fedex) gave me all the documentation via e-mail and i had to go around my city making some documents and getting EORI number so they can clear the card from customs. They are still pretty quiet if i have to pay them for brokering the card from customs.
