I don't know when it was ever around the upper end of 200 million except perhaps briefly last year or the year before sometime.


30-day GTC (game time cards) used to be about 120m ISK back in the day.

After 30-day GTC and 90-day GTC got removed and only 60-day GTC remained, prices jumped and remained high. When PLEX was introduced I think it started around 300m.

They are clueless anyways since the order is handled by Nvidia not CCP.... having petitions open for 2 weeks and no official word other then they are waiting response from Nvidia officials.

I mailed EVGA the other day to see if they had any info on this, and got a reply back today :

Hi, This information should be able to be provided by the company/person running this promotion. This does not look to be shipping from EVGA directly. It sounds like a 3rd party offered this as a prize. You can ask for the part number and compare it to the pricing at http://eu.evga.com for reference on value. Regards

I thought i;d let you guys know.. as ccp just dont reply to posts or petitons... Still trying to find an e-mail address for nvidia..if any of you guys know of one.. please post it and i'll chase them up.

Im not in the US either, cards will be shiped soon from USA to everywhere bar russia, hot hard to understand.

I do agree that being shiped "soon" after more then 2 weeks is slow as hell, but at least we got some info.

Yeah... i dont feel as mad now , that we got a reply.. however... this is ccp... and we ALL know how long "SOON " (with the trade mark symbol which i cant do) can be lol

If your in the UK don't forget that not only is the item taxed at 20%, so is the insurance and delivery cost. In the past you could ship these without paying VAT by buying a card that did not have any firmware loaded on it, I doubt that loophole still exist, and even if it did then the flash chips are not removable in these units these days so it would be a pain. FedEx will tack a fee on top for adding the tax and collection of the taxes. I think it's the greater of 2.5% of total taxible amount OR £10.50. Since the tax on this will be low (£40-£60 depending on RRprice+insurance+shipping) then you should expect the £10.50 addition. I do not think customs/import duty should will be payable on this item as it will not be above the limit. If the declared value is Nil, then you shouldnt pay any tax or fee. This will depend on what Nvidia puts on the export sheet. Would be sad if if NV uses RRP and some of you guys end up paying more for the video card than you can pick it up for in the stores ;P.... Would also be sad if it died in a month because American warrantys are usually useless. But eh, Most ppl who purchased were just dumping isk so it doesnt matter that much.

I actually address'ed this a few pages earlier when i phoned HRMC. There's UP TO 20% VAT (Thats the exact words HRMC said), and if they card is valued over £135.. then there is an import tax on top. Then ere is also an £8 charge from royal mail.

So thats around 219$... this will really hurt people in EUROPE where we need to pay TVA(VAT) 25% of the value + 10% customs + 5% the FEDEX

I wonder if ccp/nvidia could do the same for people in europe and the uk as they are doing for people in russia and send them from within dept's the uk/europe. There are places they could be shipped from within the uk.. like Ebuyer and Amazon and PLAY.

Well.. it depends.. When i get the knock on the door from the royal mail postman. i'm gonna ask him how much its gonna cost me.. and if it's too high.. i'm gonna have to turn the card down. But we'll see

So basically your throwing 20 plexes away for nothing?! You had like 2weeks/ 1month to gather up the resources to pay the card. I don't mind if you can throw my way 20 plexes for nothing. :)
