Those of you who attended Fanfest or have watched all the recordings religiously, probably know about this thing called "Nvidia Video Cards for PLEX".

Those who haven't heard of it yet can go here and read the brand new dev blog by CCP Manifest about this hitherto unique offer.

Can you post somewhere "Terms and conditions" before sales start so we can read them without haste?
Is there any specific delivery or customs restrictions?

Agreed, would be nice to be able to read the conditions ahead of time.

Read: We are competing with our customers over PLEX and as such driving PLEX prices up. When we did that the last time a statue was damaged in the process, so we a are a more careful this time.

Are you aware of the fact that 2000 PLEX is more then there is on stock in Jita?

There is, just right-click the PLEX in your asset or item window and there is an option to reverse redeem it.

I think this is a pretty cool thing.

It allows space rich but real world poor folk to upgrade their rig.

For those of you doing the math, if you can real world afford this card or any comparable one you are better off paying in cash and leaving this offer to those more suitable to it.

I still maintain that giving RMTers an opportunity to exchange ingame assets for RL goods that can be resold is not a smart move, and you've done very little to discuss this.

No, you can right-click PLEX in game and hit "Reverse Redeem" to put it back into the system.

Which actually makes anyone that loses it in a wreck even more stupid.

well ... before going arround spending a bunch of space bucks in what seems a cool initiative, could we check one thing ?

what kind of "GeForce GTX 560 video card" is it ? the "GeForce GTX 560 1 GB" or the "GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1 GB" ?

seems that ther's some difference betwin them, and i really would prefer not to invest in to something with a cool name just to see it outperformed in a month by some new technology that makes a quantum leap, because that was a cheap version of a better product ...


but maybe someone that knows more about those cards can put some light in to it ...

i saw this review about the card, but ther's 2 cards with similar names, but are quite different.

100 cards isn't nearly enough, i'd get in on this but I'm pretty sure I'd wind up with 20 plex and no card because I was a second late.

GTX 560 is arround 150 € here. Cheapest Plex (legaly) is something like 27€ for two of them.

The idea to be able to buy stuff with ingame money is awesome, although I wouldn't mind to buy one GTX 560 at that price. More of them please! It's the right direction, as you can see with blizzards (sry, had to mention it) D3 RL auction - house.

It's a nice deal for ppl who would like to pay s.th. with their time.
