Anyone have a corp store app they are willing to share?

When I was in TGRAD they had two web apps that made their members lives easier. One was a buyback calculator that would determine the total contract payout for selling stuff back to the corp. The other, more important, web app was the corp store. From the store pilots could order ships/items and the order would be tracked up until the contract was issued to the pilot

I'd like to get something like this running for my current corp. Does anyone have any source code to share? I'd be willing to license some code if the price is reasonable. If there is nothing available I'll create an open-source project and start rolling my own store.

i got my own product..... there may be some bugs, but working for years in our corp

http://www.eve.lu/eveshop (ingame please)

Main features

  • Members can setup buy orders for corp or alliance
  • Producers/Traders can accept the orders defining their own price
  • Possibility to publish "packages", which can be fitted ships, a set of implants or whatever
  • Tracking from ordering to accepting to delivery
  • Adding personal Blueprints with ME values, which will highlight the orders where you have a BP
  • Mineral prices are fetched from jita, unless you define them manually
  • Building costs of orders can be displayed
  • Skill setup for accurate calculation
  • Delivery destinations can be set to wherever, unless a director defined systems

Incoming feature

  • Player can define out of corp characters to accept and process orders (damn wardecs Blink )

well, just take a look, no API required, you just have to trust the page as usual.

Sounds like the kind of app I'm looking for but how to you propose I host it if you won't license the code?

I don't agree that closed source code is greedy however it is unappropriate for a dev to post and promote their closed software on a thread asking for open source software.

We should shame Chaotic Mind for his behavior.

I don't care if it is open source as long as I can license the source. Kinda hard to host PHP without the source you know. :)

Yes, I am. I develop multiple small tools for my corp, and anyone that uses it has access to the source.

Unless you're looking to profit off your work (illegal for 3rd party development, unless payed in ISK), or you're terribly ashamed at how bad your code is with all it's security hole, there's no reason to not have it open source. Or, at the very least, if you want to maintain a monopoly with whatever function your application serves, allow other developers to license and modify it a bit
