You have Team AVatar which is brainstorming WiS stuff while also working on other projects related to FiS.

Lol, some brainstorming. They've been brainstorming for almost 6 years and haven't come up with a single Helmar-cursed thing yet. Not even a proposal for an idea. Time to give up or get new brains.

Well, you know, directions changed, and a whole lot of people got laid off, so now they've switched gears and are trying the WiS thing again, this time in a different way. Also. I like your avatar. It is very pretty.

A person who thinks that X skirt looks completely ******* horrible? A person who wants their avatar to look the best while also murdering millions of starship crews in a lengthy time dilated battle on the edges of the known galaxy?

Ones deadliness is directly proportional to how sexy badass their uniform is, the only 3 groups to ever seem to discover that badass uniforms win wars are the germans (they were when until hitler decided he would be a herpderp), russians, adn of course japanese (woot samurai battle-armor)

I care, I care deeply.

I myself would love to see more over coats, and hats added.

Plus maybe big gold chains with the ISK symbol hanging from it.Cool

So do I.

And you sir, have the best looking monocle I have ever seen on anyone.

Very Jules Verne-style.

Personally I'd probably like to see some options for clothing like what you'd see in Serenity, Farscape, and various other space fiction movies and shows. Farscape has some good costume design, where Serenity is mostly dirty trousers and such with some nice outfits for the ladies, but there is some variety there.

If our characters are going to be tromping around, they shouldn't all be limited to military dress or specific factions clothing availability. There should be more options in what you wear and a broader range of styles from casual to roguish as well as the military and business models.

5th Element is another good example of interesting costuming, and in fact, I was distinctly reminded of that nutty villian when I saw the first of the WiS videos on dynamic light and shadows years ago. Back when they still called it ambulation.

Also, if anything I'd be impressed to see options along the style of the dropsuits in Dust. Granted those are full suits of armor, but I do like the style. Could make for a good base for less dressy forms of military wear.

Our casual wear is what it is, but it is also like the whole of EVE shops out of the same store, yet is somehow limited in selection based on what race/faction they are in.

Not that I'm distinctly unimpressed with it all or anything. It's not bad the way it is, and it is a fair selection.

Ok. Lots of great ideas here.

But at the very least...

Why can't I put womens' clothing on my male characters?

I just can't believe in this day and age I can't cross-dress online.
