V3 in Inferno delayed? Why are we only seeing Amarr V3 so far?

Just a little something I've noticed from the Fanfest coverage. I've seen several previews with Amarr ships that have undergone the V3 overhaul but there's been very little shown of Minmatar.

With Inferno only a month away, it seems like we should have seen at least *some* Minmatar ships by now, not counting the new Hound. Is it possible that we won't be getting V3 Minmatar ships next month? Obviously, Minmatar ships are often the worst when it comes to ship models and graphics so I can understand if they're going to take longer, but I'd like to know so beforehand so I'm not expecting something I don't get with Inferno.

Did I miss something that was said at fanfest in this regard? Everything I've heard up to this point suggested we'd be getting the Amarr/Minnie V3s with the May expansion.

My understanding was that only the amarr were being done in Inferno.

They said V3 Minmatar would also be included (plus some replacement models).

Fingers crossed we get more like the excellent new Hound and none like the new reaper.

I may need to rewatch it then. I thought John Lander mentioned only the Amarr for this expansion during the Saturday Keynote. I don't recall Minmatar V3 being mentioned for this expansion in the art panel either.

I like it, but I'm a fan on the cleaner look. I do agree with those who say it doesn't look particularly Minmatar though.

Watch the fanfest art pannel, they clearly state that both Amarr AND Minmatar subcaps will be V3'd for Inferno.

Timestamp plz? Tried skimming through it but couldn't find the mention of Minmatar V3 for Inferno.

Only half joking when I say this, but I hope it is only the Amarr that come through V3'd in the first wave.

That way there'll be less chance of them doing a remodel of the Rifter, and causing such a riot that the servers break. All the old ships are to be remodelled eventually, I'm just dreading the day when the Rifter meets its maker...

Restyling minmatar is an iffy issue. I agree on the rusty hulk, function before form style. Some just look too silly. Minmatar space has changed, so they can do a bit more with looks. New bomber is sweet.....

They're probably going to take the Rifter model and iterate on it, like they did with the Raven. Yeah, bad example.

The Tempest and Typhoon, though...they need new models, especially the Tempest. It looks like its designer was on LSD during its inception.
