I have had an issue with screen flashes that is extremely similar to situations I've heard relating to the sun occlusion bug.

However I have sun is occluded by objects disabled.

The screen flashes spread across my entire screen when some ships warp onto grid with me. Maelstroms, Nyx, Tempest, and maybe a few other ships. It can get really bad flying in an alpha fleet and all the maelstroms warp onto grid causing a disco on my screen.

Any ideas?

Adding specs.

FX-4100 bulldozer cpu. 3.6 ghz.

gtx 560 ti gpu.

8gb of 1600mhz ram.

To update when I was using scanner probe earlier. When I needed to warp scanner probes off grid it would cause a flash and occasionally flash when they were warping around system.
