not necessarily, my friend could pay for it in what would be about 9-10 minutes. but that doesn't mean he can make 200 grand a year after taxes. he just makes 100/hour as a consultant. on average he makes about $500-$800 a week if he can find work.

I have two active accounts that are paid for by buying PLEX with isk. I've been doing that for over two years, simply because my wife works full-time and I'm a house husband Oops

I make about 4-5bill a week from exploration. I used to earn good isk farming C3 systems, but it gets rather boring since it's very very repetitive.

I'm online for an average of 6 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. I like to find AND buy shiny stuff, so I have about 60b in assets and 8bill liquid. I don't consider myself at all "wealthy" in Eve terms. There are players out there (and botters) who earn 100bill a month without breaking a sweat.

I pay with RL cash but buy PLEX when/If I need extra ISK for something.

I have only 1 account but debating on creating another to be my ISK farmer but not sure yet.

I could just buy a PLEX a month via in game if I wanted to worry about how much ISK i made each hour, week, month but I do not care.

get into your absic run-of-the-mill C5 aliance for wormholes, run sites for 2 hours a night with a 20-man fleet, in 7 days everyone has enough isk to pay for 2 or 3 accounts.

One week of PI nets me about 700-900 mill profit, which for the most part pays for my two accounts. I just spend the rest on pvp / random side projects.

If you can't afford 15 bucks I seriously wonder how you afford an internet connection, and also think you should reevaluate your living situation... Meaning get a better ******* job or actually get a job. Unless you're in med school, in the hospital or a mother of 8 (Though I hope to god you have some way to pay them chilluns ) I dont see a reason not to have one.

I pay for 3 accounts (soon to be 4) through PLEX bought in-game. I've never purchased a PLEX for real money. I make my ISK through a combination of station trading & invention.

I simply scam goons and test into being members of my daily news letters. On a personal note, I do feel guilty for preying on the weak minded. Not as much these days, but when I first started scamming them.

I run 3 accounts and do both

Right now, thanks to the Exchange rate, I'll buy a GTC for £22 from shattered crystal and sub two of the accounts, and the 3rd plex (its the money maker production / trader) it pays for itself, and all my pewing needs.

If money is tight, looking a lil tight for the month I'll plex all 3 for the month with ISK. Being Freelance I have to play it by ear sometimes.

I pay with RL money. Cash to be exact. Which I have a lot of. After selling my body over at the retirement home (old ladies are lonely and spend their money like there's no tomorrow... because for them it's an actual possibility).

I've personally never used PLEX for my game time. I typically earn somewhere between 500 to a bil ISK per month just doing my normal game playing. IRL it takes me about 30 mins work to earn the 15 bucks for my monthly sub... in game it would take me 10 to 15 hours to earn the 500 mil ISK for PLEX...

For me, I just consider it to be a better use of my time and ISK. I don't enjoy grinding... a lot of what I do (exploration) earns not much ISK most of the time. I wouldn't normally invoke stereotypes, but the boyfriend is a chef.

I pay by PLEX for the moment, but that will change soon. 500M ISK for a PLEX, when I could buy a month's worth of fitted frigates for PvP?
