Faction and Deadspace mods on market

Are there any really serious reasons why pilots can't buy and sell faction, storyline, deadspace and officer modules on the market, yet faction ammunition and ships can be? I really am irritated by the contract system and I think this would be a great improvement, but are there any reasons for this that seriously effects gameplay for the better?

The U.S. Navy has developed a railgun that can hit a target the size of a watermelon from about 200km away.  its probably around 8,000 years in the future, we can go faster then light, be immortal, teleport capital ships, communicate instantly, mine asteroids and make ships invisible, yet still our railguns can't even hit a massive spaceship over 100km....

CCP need to have something else on contracts besides PLEX scams.

I believe with the new kill mail system with history and values they are allowing those items to be placed on the market

Since I usually need to travel across several regions to find the mod I'm looking for, I actually prefer the system the way it is now.
Many of the items you're talking about are way too rare to be listed in every region. Would make finding a faction/deadspace afterburner or shield mod way too difficult imho.

I'd rather have them on contracts because you can see all them in game, and not just limited to one region. As to why they do it so you cannot sell them on the market, dunno. Probably some silly reason. They might eventually add them to the market like they did with faction ships not long ago.

Looking forward to having them on the market, death to chat spam.

The region issue it's not really a problem considering the market websites and the 4 hubs.

You need an interregional market for stuff this rare. Sure there are meta 6-8 items that are relatively common but there are also items at the same level that are infrequently listed. Really high meta stuff would be stupid hard to find if it was confined to one region.
If you're buying a ship, chances are you're gonna fly it out of where you bought it from. There's no reason not to display them region by region. On the other hand, why fly all over creation gathering widely dispersed faction mods, or vainly searching region by region for them without luck? Screw that noise.

Market hubs will have the rare things. Just like they do now.

Well ya if you wanna warp around for the better part of an hour finding out which market hub has the best price (rare items will vary by huge amounts)...

Or... you can take a single glance at the contract screen and know which place you wanna travel 15 jumps to in order to make the purchase.

Really, you're using out of game market sites (which are rarely accurate, often buggy and rely on server calls from ingame clients which increase server load and lag) as a reason why contracts should be nerfed and high end good placed into regional markets?

I have a toon on my account that I put in Jita. He does nothing but sit in Jita so I can check prices on items in real time. He gives me the info on which I base my decision to "make a Jita run" without relying on anyone else.

Youe are allowed three toons on an account, using one for a market alt is useful. No training required, no extra PLEX or sub required.

^^ Havign to metagame just to find out the prices of things is ridiculous. The contracts system should stay, FFS.

All items should be on market, except obviously damaged items and a package of items, that's what contracts are for.

The only people that don't want some items on market are scammers and price manipulators.

I'd hate to delete my freighter-, combatprober-, production-, research- etc-alts just to park a character in Jita to check ONE market hub, when i can use contract system to see whole universe in a click.

Unfortunately tho, it's coming, so I guess flying around highsec alts in rookie ships/shuttles/frigs for hours to save isk will be the new deal. What?

What would be nice is a skill that you can train to place an "agent", or use an "agent" remotely in other regions. You can dial up the agent from the ol' people and places and ask him a question, "Hey Mr Agent man, how much are widgets in your station?" Mr Agent man says "That'll be 5,000 ISK please" and you say "Ok Mr Agent man, you theif" and a few moments later you get a link, and with that link you can open the market window and see that item in that region from the perspectibve of that station.

Level five you get five agents. Pre-Req of trade lvl 3 or something.

There are items on the market which are rare too. I don't see the point having so many of them only in contracts. This is in dire need of refactoring. I guess it'll be one man month to get this done so there will be other things to be done with a higher priority.

At least CCP could move minerals to contracts only since they are getting so expensive and rare.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.
