What is a good isk investment in such times? Getting BPO and starting production?

Send your isk to me, I'll invest it for you. As you can see from my corp name, investments is what I do.

This post was crafted by a member of the GoonSwarm Federation Economic Cabal, the foremost authority on Eve: Online economics and gameplay.

Minerals & alloys... the 24th drone nerf/ creation of an ISK faucet & Hulageddon on the 28th are going to create rampant market disruptions. Goons Jita interdiction is questionable if it'll cause market disruptions but alot of ships will probably go poof

You really only have 4 core options in EVE.

1. Minerals (includes your example of a bpo - it takes minerals)
2. Moon Mats for T2
3. Salvage and rigs either T1 or T2.
4. Loot and this can range for lowly meta 1 to Meta 14, might include anything from Storyline blueprints to Exotic dancers to Dog tags.

1 and 2 your decisions will rely on player fads. Will Lasers become popular again? Or will it stay Projectile and shield for the extended future?
3 is a solid market at the T1 and a very high end market at the T2 end. T2 Rigs are the closest thing to jewelry that EVE has, never really offering enough benefit to justify the cost.
4 is a mix of Player and CCP for Meta where it's easy to calculate. Moar is better. Higher meta means better gear. it's rare though and a hard to invest item. Non Meta relies on the moods of CCP. If they make a loot do more or less than what it does right now, the demand can shift. CCP shy away from this because of the sandbox and player market aspect of EVE but as we see in blue loot demand, players tend to push away from line level gear. Loot is also usually cosmetic like the T2 rigs.

The only thing I feel I truly "invest" in are loots because I have no idea what they will do. I do it in blind faith. Everything else is a security and when things get hairy I secure by stacking my ISK.
