Hi,

So to start off I should explain my character. I started EVE in mid-2008 but I've taken several breaks throughout, and for my job I have to spend a lot of time overseas in places with bad internet connections. So aside from some mission running, in the time I've kept an account active I've done little more than log in to maintain my skill queue.
I've got about 24m sp with 8m invested in piloting BS and smaller (Gallente and Caldari focus for smaller ships, Caldari-only on BS) and about 3m each in missiles and blasters. I think at this point I'm fairly set on ships and weapons. I'm wanting to start working shield and armor tanking, but I'm not really sure what a good plan for this would be. My end goal for this build is to be an efficient mission runner in a Raven and to be able to work incursions with as little difficulty as possible. Some pvp survivability would be nice too, but not an immediate concern. Will mostly be using either a Raven, a BC, a cruiser, or a stealth bomber.

My sheet:

What are some areas I should focus on to improve this by as much as possible?

Well - you got it yourself.

I looked at your skillsheet and it's a bit of a mess - decide which ship you want to fly first, find a decent fit for it, get EFT, right click on each module, check the affecting skills and get each of them to at least IV.

For now, if you want to fly a raven, stealth bombers and BCs, stop training Gallente and turrets alltogether at once and focus on missiles, shields and Caldari ship skills.

Incursions fleets may be a little hard to get into in a missile boat, but then I don't do any and may be wrong on that one.

For a lvl 4 Raven

Better drones

Shield comps

Missile "support" skills

You are on the right track, just make what you have, better.

EVE PvP is much more about turrets than missiles (as, I'm pretty certain, is incursions). This is because turrets apply instant damage which is tactically superior. You seem to be at a pivotal moment between choosing turrets or missiles. If you choose missiles, it may take longer to get into a PvP ship, or at least you will be greatly restricted in what you can do. You can still do PvE with turret ships, so in my humble opinion I would suggest you go for doing your PvE in a Dominix, perhaps training the few Drone and Gallente skill levels you would still need whilst gaining standings in level 3s with a Heavy Missile Drake.

Guns are no better than Missles. Shocked

They both have streangths and weaknesses.

That incursion aspect is based on VG's only and is due to sig v.s. tracking on small targets. Roll

Pvp wise missles can be great if you got the right group.
